And break up the top 4?
I really do like the end of season format i Holland. They get 2 Champions league places but only the Dutch champions are guaranteed.
What happens then is 2nd plays 5th over two legs and 3rd plays 4th with the winners meeting in the play-off final and whoever wins that joins the league winners in Europe.
They have the same situation for the Uefa Cup, 6th plays 9th and 7th plays 8th in the semi's with the winners getting into the fianl for a place in Europe.
Over here, the top 3 should go into the CL with 4th playing 7th and 5th v 6th for a place in the final and a route to the CL.
Whoever loses the final should then go into the UEFA Cup.
