The club have regrettably had to keep Blocks 20 and 27 sterile for the visit of Charlton Athletic on Saturday 13th March. This measure was undertaken by the club to meet concerns expressed by the Football Association and Metropolitan Police following high profile and well-publicised incidents of anti-social behaviour at some previous matches. These steps were taken after consultation with our partners including the Safety Advisory Group (SAG) who, as you are aware, issue the safety certificate for the stadium. We are delighted that our fans have taken note of early ticket sales for the Charlton match and ensured that all available home sections at The Den are sold out. As we anticipate our largest home crowd for some considerable time, we would urge all supporters to arrive early to avoid possible congestion and queuing."

We have sold out by the way. Old Bill advised Millwall not to sell the extra 700 seats in the lower tier. Obviously worried I might run on the pitch again!

more like OB did not want the possibility of having to do some work for the £500 they get paid for doing a match

From Rick E
We've now confirmed that this was not a police decision, as we were told by Millwall, and the police are in fact happy for Millwall to provide us with more tickets, on the basis that we are not on general sale. However, ultimately it's a decision for Millwall.
