THE problems continue to pile up for Peterborough United on and off the pitch. A 2-0 defeat at Crystal Palace left Posh six points adrift at the foot of The Championship, but the build-up to a fourth straight loss was marred by a bust-up between on-loan striker Izale McLeod and club management. Posh boss Mark Cooper confirmed that McLeod had been left out of the travelling party to Selhurst Park for disciplinary reasons, but declined to explain further. The Evening Telegraph understands that an attempt to send the 25 year-old back to his parent club, Charlton failed as the League One club are insisting the season-long loan deal is honoured. McLeod started the first two matches of his loan spell, but, perhaps significantly, he was left on the substitutes' bench for all but the final stages of last Tuesday's defeat by Preston. McLeod fell out with Millwall manager Kenny Jackett while on loan at The New Den 12 months ago and returned early to Charlton. Cooper said: "Izale was left out of the squad at Crystal Palace for disciplinary reasons, but further than that I can't comment. The reasons will remain in-house."
