Sulking Frenchman? If so he can disappear.
I hate nothing more than a gifted footballer not reaching his true potential, clearly smething is not right in his mind at the moment and for me it's been coming because his body language is all wrong and has been for a while.
The first time I noticed it was when we went 2-0 up ay Norwich, all the other players had a pile up to celebrate while Racon just strolled back to the half way line looking at the floor.
It's happened a couple of times since too and what ever is going on needs to be sorted out because his game is well off where it should be and am I glad that Semedo is back next week.
One other thought is that Spring should have been ahead of him today, maybe he is not as gifted as Racon but at least you know he'll put a shift in for you.

He was outstanding earlier in the season, but then we booted him out wide, then dropped him. I don't think he appreciated that somehow. He was average at best today

I thought he was the laziest bastard on the pitch today. Her just didn't look interested all afternoon. I was hoping the change with Spring would come at H/T but no, all Spring got was 15 minutes. As Reams says ,he's not as skillful but you do know he's going to graft for you.

Wasn't at the game today, think I saw a better match Barbarians v All Blacks, but looked at the match thread on my Blackberry and seemed to be foul after foul by Racon. To my mind he was one of our best players at the beginning of the season, but is reacting badly to being put out left, or left out in previous games. We have a surfeit in central midfield, sell in Jan and get a true left sided player.

he has played out of position for the last few games. I can understand his frustrations because, as everyone says, he was playing well with Samedo in the middle of the park (his position) and then we had a couple of hard games. Bailey was ineffective on the left so was brought inside and when Samedo came back, Racon was deemed to be the player to take that left wing position. Now we can see the emergence of Wagstaff, whom can play the wing position well. Racon has found himself out the side. It shows good mgmt that, although he is a very skillful player, he doesn;t fit in the formation at the moment. Same can be said of Shelvey. Although still to develop, he has skill but doesnt fit in the team at the present time.
Both these players will come back into the side this season and when they do its down to the player himself and the coaches to ensure they are in the right frame of mind to perform.
