Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws is looking forward to seeing a revitalised Akpo Sodje when he returns in January.
The former Port Vale striker has scored twice in three substitute appearances since joining Charlton Athletic on loan and Laws is delighted with the 29-year-old's return to form.
He now hopes Sodje will head back to Hillsborough in the New Year ready to make a major impression in the Owls' Championship campaign.
"Akpo has scored two in three and we are delighted with that because that is what we sent him out on loan for, to get some games under his belt and more importantly start finding the net again," Laws told skysports.com.
"He has had a frustrating time with injuries recently and he just needed that bit of confidence to return and he seems to have got that since joining them on loan.
"Hopefully he can come back here with a spring his step and raring to go."
DAMN IT!!!!

Im not surprised that he's looking forward to seeing him the strikers he has there are shit, Tudgay excluded.
Interesting that Laws is putting out the vibes that he wants Akpo back, a bit of a selfish approach when he has Luke Varney there on loan, I would love it if Derby treated him in the same way and went public on looking forward to his return! See how he likes it.
Maybe if he does go back to Pride Park we could get him back on loan for the remainder of the season?
