When I go to Charlton, I notice the thousands of seats empty!!! If we are to continue to perform well at home we need more ticket sales to make our fans louder!!

On a morning of a match CAFC could send someone down to Woolwich, Plumstead, Greenwich and give away tickets to families.

Agree with you northuppersam, the problem lies with the season ticket sales im afraid offering half price seats now for example would not go down to well with the fans who paid up front.
For what my opinion is worth the board scored a very big own goal during pre-season, they were desperate to sell season tickets to get money in the bank to cover some of the season's costs which was understandable but we have 10,000 empty seats every other week which they cannot now sell off on the cheap.
My shout would be let in all under 16 year old's for a fiver, after all they are the future, failing that why not sell family tickets.
If you are not 16 and on't fall into the family category either then why not introduce a voucher book for the next 3 to 5 home games for let's say £39 for a 3 game one and £59 for a 5 game one.
Senior figures on the board have made it clear we have no money, PP has hinted there won't be any for players either, yet nobody appears to be using their initiative to raise any.

Yeah reamsofverse that would definately make sense! It will help the financial issues that Charlton are experiencing at the moment, maybe not in the figures they need but will definately contribute.
And by doing so the singing will be louder and the atmosphere will be far greater!
The boards should seriously start to consider something along them lines, and what you have sounds good to me.

Another option is maybe when we have an away side bringing a small following we could put them on the end of the West stand lower and then fill the Jimmy Seed with under 16's for a fiver, they would make a right racket.
Another controversial move could be to do a kids in for a quid scheme and let students and the unemployed in for £5 too.

Kids a quid is a great idea for the real crap games and if they bring a adult they get in for a fiver £5.00 or £10.00 without a kid

can't do it as we are guaranteed that having a season ticket will be cheaper than paying match by match

And in that lies the problem gav, the board went for the lump sum at the start of the season clearly thinking they would sell more s/t's than what they did. We did well to sell the 10,000 or so but the board have now shot themselves in the foot with regards to trying to fill the empty seats.
Bad business and they wonder why we have no money.
