4-5-1 IS NOT WORKING.......1 win in 6 tells you that we have been found out....
To many players of form like Sam, Shelvey and Burton but you keep playing them.....
65 mins of Dross today till McLeod and McKenzice come on and we looked a team, but it was to late because Parky you are to negative, to late in making changes

Agreed Bexley, if it aint broke then don't try to fix it.
PP won me over during pre-season, im still with him but he is starting to show signs of becoming blinkered again.
Shelvey is fooked, he's also become a marked man as Penny said after the game today, they man marked him so effectively we then have 4 midfielders and a striker, we more or less are playing with 10 men if his role is not paying off and at the moment it's not.
There are two reasons why we are not pulling up trees at the moment. One is the absence of Semedo and the second is we are have become unbalanced in formation.
We need a natural left winger and a striker somebody like Jonathan Stead or one who can get his head on the crosses that rain I also like Heffernan and Akinde.

Parky is definitely running out of ideas and the last six games ain't impressive. If he don't get it in his head that we need capitalise on the possession we have and the chances then he seriously risks us going on a losing streak before Christmas ...mark my words!!
The fact that we are now only a couple of points better than Colchester/MK Dons/Bristol Rovers quite frankly doesn't say much about us now does it!! Soon we'll be chasing them.
Huddersfield scoring for fun...and they're next up...we haven't scored for three games. Today we should have won but could have lost!
Why the fook Parky feels the ref was to blame for the way Oldham slowed the game down is worrying. We should have the ability to dictate tempo! Why seek excuses like that...last season he did this kind of thing and look what happened!

Radio 5 today with steve claridge, CAFC are a poor second to Leeds ! says it all really, at this rate we can expect the palyoffs, and thats only because the other sides are so much worse !

Agreed reddyfreddy it looks like the man has got into bad habits again, he is devoid ideas at the moment and when we generally know when he has because he starts talking bollox as he has today.
Don't know about the rest of you but Parky will have to be up earlier in the morning to catch me out and all this talking Tuna up is designed for one thing.........and that is because he's using him to tell us that he doesn't think that we need a new striker and if he thinks that he should join Semedo and Sinclair in the treatment room.
I can't see for the life of me what McLeod and McKenzie bring to the table, one is hopeless and the other has a reserved sign hanging on the door handle of the the physio's office.
Burton holds play up well and gives his all but we need a totally different striker alongside him a player who has something that nothing else has like turning his marker, running at defenders and above all one who can create something out of nothing.
There is a long list of a strikers available out there albeit on loan, PP at least have a look at the fookin thing better still use the time that you reserve every week to tell us all that this one is injured and that one is struggling only for us all to find out on the Saturday that they are fit after all, don't get me wrong it's a relief to know that they but it's getting a bit boring now.
Im going to stick my neck out here and say we are in the midst of a mini crisis at the moment, not because we have only won one of the last 6, but because of our continuous tactics and inept forwards that on't even look like being addressed.
Oldham's manager should have a carpenters carrer waiting for him the way he hit the nail on the head after the game today, he said; "Listen, it's a tough place to come. They're flying high at the top of the league and you've got to be happy to come away from here with a point.
"We love coming to these kind of places and we created some good chances in the game. We changed the shape today, we tracked Jonjo Shelvey in the hole with Jon Worthington and we're delighted with the clean sheet.
In my book if opponents play Shelvey out of the game we are then playing with 10 men and one striker so it's time for him to join his mates on the bench because we simply can't afford that.

Parky knows we need players.. Is he allowed to go for any? What can he spend? Are they going to be any better than the bargain bucket buys he’s already had to go for? He did change it today, on the hour, he switched to 442 and that’s when we came alive, before that we were neat & tidy, but no real threat in front of goal… Even with the later pressure we couldn’t score..
Could have won it, but we didn't.. Again managers are only as good as their players and if McLeod had put “that” chance in, if Youga (had a cracking game btw) hadn’t hit the bar, if the takeover had happened in the summer… If? If? The truth is Parky’s options are limited, and he knows they are but he has to pump up the likes of Tuna because that’s what he’s got.. Tactics alone aren’t going to improve everything!… We need players.. We all bloody know it.. So no use in harping on about that! We all know why we don't have them! Throughout Parky's reign, his most expensive signing has been £0.00 …. The question everyone should be asking is how much of this £7m is going on players? The fact that this investment conveniently arrived after the transfer window closed, suggests sod all, or not a lot!

Well inspiring team talks is not one of Parky's strengths I'm sure having listened to his whining post match interview. Moaning about players not being able to train (reference to Richardson/Sam) and having to play Saturday/Tuesday, Saturday/Tuesday and now looking forward to a "full week's trainng" all said in a monotone that is dreary and unassertive is not filling me with any confidence. If you start to lose the dressing room then Parky you're in trouble mate and six games without any real result or positiveness is piss poor! Exeter we scrambled over the line...big deal! Norwich 2-0 up and could have lost in the end! Colchester get stuffed! Three games without scoring! Now compare this to the last six games for the team at the bottom of the table...Southampton! No even I can't write about them but think about it! Even others in the bottom four. Now the excuses are starting to come and as Reams says they are drivel and we have suffered every form of excuse going mate so the basics KNOWN!! Striker's needed or not...we ain't got our act together! Bailey scores doesn't he? What's happened to him lately? 2nd in the league and can't score in 270 mins isn't down to needing a striker...it's overall play! Shelvey needs a rocket up his arse but is Parky capable of handling this kid's talent...I am beginning to wonder? We should be clear of Leeds not trailing them but the next half dozen games could see us "in the pack" while Parky now "experiments" with the squad/tactics and it's deja-vu last season! Can't beat Oldaham at home...'kinell, joke!

Be careful of what you wish for Andy - everytime he comes inside and closer to his own penalty box he makes suicidal Scholes like tacklws resulting in dangerous free kicks for the opposition if not penalties. I for pne prefer him well away from defensive central areas

It's all down to ; SAME SHIT DIFFERENT BOARD They can find £7m but not a penny more for players; WASTE OF SPACE. Reams, That's it in a nutshell, for me.... I knew people would start turning on Parky, but why do they put aside the fact that since the board gave him the job, his position has been untenable… How many other managers chasing success in this league, have had sod all to spend? I read & listen to all the interviews & news, but most of it I take with a pinch of salt… Like all managers he has a microphone shoved under his nose, right after matches and is with all them, he comes up with occasional crap… Much of it is irrelevant to the real problems… I want to hear from the board what they have in mind and what they plan to do to help Parky fill the blatant gaps we have in the squad… Now that would be news worth taking in!

I'm with you mate but communication from Murray and the club nowadays compared to when we were in the Prem is appalling. "It's the Charlton way" as Murray used to bang on about, was doing something quietly and producing an end result. Now it's just silence, silence and more silence!! I wonder how often Parky has any contact with the board? Oh yeah Saturdays and Tuesdays...should have guessed!
