Due to two Leeds players being called up for International duty.
Have to say I personally disagree with a game being called off just because you are missing two players as Leeds are but in saying that it means that somewhere down the line they will have to play 3 games in a week so I'll settle for that one.
So next week we play Olham whilst Rovers and Leeds have a rest.

I think that's terrific news to have our two nearest rivals have a game cancelled, especially being the one between themselves. As long as we get the 3 points in the bag that's a great advantage. Then they're playing catch-up! If we don't take advantage of this situation then it's diabolical. This being Charlton though we all know what will happen don't we...!

Agree with Freddy they will be playing catch up which could be a good thing
But its lame to cancel the game for two players

Very Lame Leftbehind and I think that the Football League should keep a close eye on this because Snodgrass, who has been called up by Scotland limped off against Carlisle in the week and remains a doubt for them tomorrow. I just wonder if Leeds will want to play Bristol Rovers next week without him therefore leaving him in the Scotland squad just for the experience of a trip to Japan and by doing so their game will remain postponed.
If Snodgrass misses tomorrows game then the FA should order the Scottish medical team to carry out a full fitness test on him because if he is injured then the Bristol Rovers game should not be cancelled and I hope they are thinking the same as me and keeping one eye on it.

Snodgrass I see has withdrawn from the squad due to injury which I find very suspicious as he could have withdrawn at the end of last week, Leeds must have known that he wouldsn't make it! and if the announcement would have come prior to kick off against us then the Bristol game would have been back on, instead they leave it until it's too late!!
Im undecided on what I prefer on this one, part of me is annoyed that they will now have 2 weeks to get their 5 injuries back on the pitch whilst the other part of me is happy to see them have to now play 4 games in 12 days which are as follows:
Monday, 19 October 2009
Leeds United v Norwich, 19:45
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saturday, 24 October 2009
Millwall v Leeds United, 15:00
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tuesday, 27 October 2009
Bristol Rovers v Leeds United, 19:45
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saturday, 31 October 2009
Leeds United v Yeovil, 15:00
