Yet to be confirmed but news coming out of The Valley is that Leeds have changed their minds about selling tickets to Charlton fans on the day. That knackers me up then but I was coming by car and it would have taken just under two hours, but what about Charlton fans travelling from London who may have purchased train tickets and were travelling because they were told that the remaining 350 tickets can be bought at the away turnstile??
Find this disgusting and I hope our board repay the compliment at the last but one game of the season when we slash the away end to 1,500 capacity and give the rest to our own fans, it may entice their fans to buy in the home ends but not if we make it all ticket with a purchase history.
Fuck em dirty bastards!!

Seems late in the day to be changing their minds but with the game practically a sell-out it might be prudent as Leeds fans wanting to see the game could buy these tickets on the day. Really you should always buy in advance if you want to be sure of a ticket, I did and I'll be there to see The Addicks bring their unbeaten home run to an end! Costing me £70 train to travel from Ayr to Leeds, poxy rip-off!

Yes mstone just seen that this is what has been given as the excuse but to me it's bollox, would they have said that 350 Charlton fans will have to get a refund if we had sold out? why give us 1700 in the first place? It's a disgrace if you ask me and all they are doing it for is so that we will be -350 fans when it comes to the noise levels.

'kinell £70 got to hand it to you DFT you're loyal ;D Those Scots must think you're nuts...but then again we know that. lol We'll win 2-1 so "it'll be a good day" as they said in some movie which I can't now remember the title of as the guy was about to be excecuted. Famous actor. Being PC correct...let's just say he wasn't from Viking ancestry and you wouldn't notice if he'd been out in the sun for an hour or two kinda thing. Strange analogy but it's early!

He got that from the Charlton website, Leeds have informed the club that the game is a near sellout. That was on Thursday so it looks like a 38,000 plus crowd for the game.

A second thought do we know that the whole of the Leeds stadium is open, may be they have been closing stands to save money. I have not seen anyy thing to say so but just wondering.

I am going via Sheffield. It is costing about £55 from London. Will have to be careful as it is Sheff Utd v Doncaster too. Mate went down and got tickets this afternoon.
Would imagine that if you turn up at Leeds ticket office with your Charlton season ticket they will sell you one in the away end. We always used to.
