Maybe I have too much time on my hands but I think that the Gillinghamgate affair will still take a twist and when it does it will be in our favour. When Pardew was manager he was taking a look at Gillingham's centre half Simon King, for those of you who do not know, he is without doubt the best centre half in this didvision who puts his head in wear it hurts, he was also named in the PFA League 1 team of the year last season. Now I have been looking back at the CAFC archives on the OS for a piece that PP said last season but I can't find it for the life of me but PP in so many words is a big fan of King. At the moment the lad is out of action because of an injury sustained during pre-season but he is looking at a January return to action. Could it be that PP is playing it smart and is set to request a swop deal when the window opens and that is the reason that he will not allow Dickson go to Gillingham just yet because that gives them too much time to decide if he can rediscover the form he showed the last time he was there which would merit the swop?. Gillingham paid £200k for him which rises to £250k after so many games, perhaps they will be interested just to avoid paying the top up fee. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_King_(footballer)

As you say you've too much time on your hands. Btw has your old man read Lennie's book? What does he think of it if he has? Accurate? BS?

Reams.... I'm about half way through Lennie's book but he makes no mention of your Dad, which is suprising as mentions other coaches that he's worked with. I saw you old man play when he was at Wrexham and was a tough competitor to say the least... also I heard from Paul Curtis, who played for Charlton, who I was at school with that during half time team talk for the Bolton game, your old man literally threatened each team member with physical violence if they didn't pull their fingers out. The only person he didnt pick on was Killer.... end result was we won 4-1.... is that true or was Curt telling porkies

If Any of you remember Andy Lochhead the old Villa striker, bald headed bruiser, well Wrexham played Vila in the league cup during the early 70's, Lochead was centre forward being marked by my old man anyway he booted the old fella once too often and ended up over the wall in row 2 and the next day he was having new teeth fitted, true story that, he also picked up Franny Lee by the throat walking own the tunnel once too

He's over next week I'll have to ask him, has my old fella got a mention in it? I'd have thought that being they worked together he'd be mentioned. I did mention before that I'd met your Dad and he always had a smile and friendly handshake for everyone. Big cuuunt ain't he. lol Also if that was your mum he was with when at CAFC then she was bloody gorgeous!

So Bolton went down as consequence...something like that? Everybody on the pitch afterwards to cheer the team in directors box of the old stand (jeeez it was old!!).
