CHARLTON will not be taking any action against their players for their role in a fracas with opponents Norwich at the weekend.
The FA has announced it is investigating the club’s part in the incident, which took place in the tunnel at half-time.
Trouble flared shortly after Canaries players and fans were incensed by a Nicky Bailey tackle on Grant Holt, though Addicks skipper Bailey was not punished by referee Steve Tanner.
“It was something of nothing and hopefully it will blow over,” Charlton boss Phil Parkinson told the South London Press.
“I haven’t felt the need to talk to any of my players about it.”
An FA spokesman said: “We are aware of the incident and are making enquiries accordingly. We will decide if any further action will be necessary.”
