From a Norwich fan:
Firstly, 95% of your fans were ACE. V good best we've had all year...
Rival Supporting is all about banter...We were losing 2-1 for THE entire second half and sat through songs about fu*king our mothers and sisters, losing 7-1, Delia etc etc... We took it.
However the second we score a equalizer in last minute, a block of yours decide to charge towards our fans...
Only problem they go towards the FAMILY part of the stand!!!!
Stewards got punched in the face, police were attacked, missiles were thrown into the kids seats, children were ushered out by parents and the threats when they left the ground, incredibly vicious.
Just disappointed, as I like Charlton, but shocked at the lack of class by some....
Is this a normal occurrence?
No it isn't I would say but I think putting the family stand right next to the away end is not a good idea although there is no excuse for the behaviour of some of our fans.
As for that family song it's boring, insulting and about the same level as those who sing it.

Too right. The 'Addams Family' song is boring and moronic, now.Very sad that a group of morons let themselves, the rest of us decent fans and the club in general down.I'd rather people looked at us as being 'anorak wearing saddos that are friendly' rather than 'moronic, insulting loons that want to kick off when it's not going their way'.Sad. TWATS!!!!

Cant see it being stewards being punched police attacked just seems to far fetched
I know we have our hot heads who does not but i dunno, heard reports written by Fulham fans when we played there a few years back and it was written far worse than it was as i was there watching things going on.
But if true and was family bang out of order then we have no right moaning at Saints for what happened at the Lib, makes us just as bad as them

Hearing reports it was nothing like what was written
They were giving it just as much fists thrown boths sides.
Know some of the people
Not really a whole block there is there Reports of 3 young lads chased by 15 plus Norwich and these young lads were not mob either
Two sides to a story
If you read later on he back tracks about the family stand
Mole hill and mountain spring to mind

I know pete I had it on the radio, had my head in my hands when it went in, I'll take the point but the concern now is that two teams on the trot have sussed our passing game out which could spell trouble.
Not for a minute having a go at Parky here, but I was hoping that instead of throwing McLeod on he would have thrown Sodje into the fray and gone with 5 at the back, because the pressure was never ending from them and under those circumstances it's better to protect what we had rather thangamble on putting the game to bed.

Just got back from Norwich. I was about half a block away, but it seemed that the police went in to sort out some over exhuberent Norwich fans and did see a truncheon drawn and go down on something. There were a group of Charlton fans who stood the whole game sod whether kids or old people could see or not. They did make some decent noise though. However these fans reckon thet are they real thing, so how come they disappear 5 mins before half time and don't come back until well into the 2nd half. You can get p*ssed any time.

I'd have done that as well Reams but, to be fair to Parky, he clearly felt that an injection of pace up front with McLeod and Waggy would allow us to counter as they pushed forward for an equaliser. It nearly worked. I think he stuck to his game plan, unfortunately we didn't perform as we have done. Norwich closed us down and won some key battles in the middle of the park, especially in the second half. I think that unsettled our passing game and left us with hit and hope options. We needed to knock them out of their stride like we did from the time we scored up to when they got their first. It did feel like a loss in the end, even though, to be frank a win would have flattered us.
