Off to Bulgaria if you believe the papers. The guy is so much better than that. If only his attitude matched his ability. Such a waste.

I'm a St. Johnstone fan based in Blackheath (I've attended a few Charlton matches over the past couple of seasons as well and am looking forward to the play-off final). Not sure if it was the same for you guys, but Tony Watt started off extremely well for us. Not the greatest finisher in the world, but an impressive work ethic and natural ability with the ball at his feet. Very good at bringing our other attacking options into play. Not sure what went wrong, but he seemed to lose all of his motivation after a few months with us. His irregular scoring rate descended into a total drought and he wasn't displaying the same positive attributes we'd seen previously. There seemed to be a shift in his motivation and attitude, to the extent that he was eventually dropped to the bench before becoming third choice behind two strikers who are far less gifted than he is. In the end, not many of our supporters would be disappointed to see him go. A real shame.

I have suspicions that he has anxiety issues and finds it difficult to settle. If this is the case I have great sympathy for him as happiness and success become elusive. His highs and lows were too far apart - what a shame and good luck to him in his latest search for success and contentment.
