For the 6TH time Bolton have survived a winding up order ... how do they keep getting away with it and why is the EFL just sitting back and doing nothing .....

Their only have two weeks to clear their debts and lost a buyer last night. Remember that we have had a sale imminent for over two years. Any day now......

Well I hope it is not the Aussies buying them. They will be in Liquidation before they complete.

I assume itβs Paye and other taxes owed to HMRC (plus of course outstanding wages and bills to suppliers).
There only chance is if the potential buyers are still interested but are now waiting to do a deal with the Administrators.
A very bleak situation and many had doubts when the Holdsworth Consortium purchased the club without a pot to pi55 in π

Its not about the club, the fans or the players , its about moving / making money , where do you think the 200+ million went !

That's nothing in comparison to when Mark Hulyer was in charge in the 80's.......... we were in and out of courts on a weekly basis.... I understand that we had reserved parking and seating as well!

Definitely don't want to see any side go out of business, but at the same time it's probably fair if they slide down the leagues a bit to allow a properly run club the chance to compete in the Championship.

I'm not so sure, to be honest. The vast sums of money that have been spent and never paid back are disgusting. Bankrupt a couple of clubs and throw them out of the league and/or make the rest of the Football League clubs (and the Premier League Clubs) liable for their debts and FFP will suddenly become something that is enforced. If those running the league knew that when a club overspends the debt will fall on the other clubs you can bet they would stop it pretty quickly. In fact, I imagine that the player's wages would drop overnight and all the Agents would find something else to do rather that leech on English Football.
