1. A billionaire financier.
2. Best squad in League One.
3. Second most expensive squad in League One.
4. Two Charlton men at the helm.
5. Decent watchable football.
6. A productive academy.
7. Momentum.
According to many, the only thing missing is a takeover. There are plenty of spaces below, so don't hold back when telling me all the advantages of uncertainty.

Can have a trillionaire financier , doesn’t mean he’s going to invest properly and heavily as we have seen! Certainly don’t have the best squad in the league imo , otherwise we’d be top!
We are where we are for a reason, arguably not much has changed since last season which still keeps us around the “6th best team in the league” position...
Football is more than results, so whilst what you list is all we’ll and good- a takeover is a clean slate , it’s a cement base to build a bridge, it’s a chance for freshness and a chance to remove the stale situation this club has been in for the last few years.

The advantages of uncertainty depend on who you are. Thousands of Charlton supporters want Duchatelet to sell the Club, and were very vocal about reminding him for some time. He shot their fox by announcing that he was selling it - 18 months ago. 18 months (and counting) of uncertainty has been of significant advantage to him, and to those Charlton fans who do not like expressions of protest or other 'negative' activities. Uncertainty has not held any advantages for many other supporters though, as home attendance levels have dropped by about 10% in the last 18 months, despite a significant upturn in the form of the team since Lee Bowyer took over. It seems unlikely that RD will change his mind and withdraw the Club from sale, as he has said that he wants to get out of football ownership. So there seems little prospect of the 'certainty' of his continued ownership - in the medium to long term anyway. The only other obvious source of certainty is a take-over and a new owner. How much certainty that would provide will depend on the nature of the new ownership, something which we cannot know at present. All we can do is hope for the best.
Unfortunately our best squad in League One is only a potential best squad. When injuries and other factors like tactical shortcomings are taken into account it is currently the fourth best squad in the league. However I agree with the rest of your list survivor Ownership issues aside, promotion is a real possibility right now. I would even go so far as to say we have a slightly better than 50/50 chance of being back in the Championship next season. What the future will bring - the rest of January for starters - may require a revision of that prediction. But right now I'm happy with it.

RD is not a billionaire, said it before and I’ll say it again, go into his accounts and he is worth less than €50 million. Rich I give you but not a billionaire.

I'll ask again, why is uncertainty more attractive and better than what we have?
I'm waiting.

Yes you're right, but does that take the uncertainty away from the cowboys...no it doesn't, so I'll ask again: Why is uncertainty better than what we have?
