Next season will be his season ... he will be able to wheel and deal in the summer .. this season will be a massive bonus if we can sneak into the plays offs , once you change managers half way through a season it's always going to be difficult if you want to change the whole system and the way you want to play

He has the same trainers as me. I like him a bit more now. If he can stop the late equalisers, he can fight as many groundsman as he likes.

He is just 1 point under an average of 2 points a game with a new to him squad that has experienced too many injuries and suspensions.
However players coming back so 9+ points from the next 4 games could yet see us challenge for a playoff place.
Season not yet ended but these two away games are v important!

Hopefully the new owners will back Karl with some proper funding. He is the right for the job, but he needs time and resources.

I remember reading somewhere when Curbs became the sole manager that Richard Murray said words to the effect that his job would only be at risk, if the team stopped trying on the pitch... in other words if the dressing room is lost... I hope that RD has the same common sense to apply this to KR... I'm going to Oldham and Rochdale games so, I'm hoping to see the same application and desire that I saw at Bradford...back to back wins would be an added bonus too!

As I said on Facebook, we need to show this 100% backing of KR, to the club at the meeting on 25th Feb.

Even if the playoffs aren't reached, I'll be immensely disappointed if Robinson isn't given at least until December next to mold the squad.
Although I'm glad Robinson is in control, it's clear that Slade was never really given much of a chance to succeed. What the club needs now is a consistent effort towards realizing a coherent plan.

My mate Phil Brown, the Southend manager, really rates Karl and reckons he will take us places, even if he has to work on a tight budget. Time is the issue.
How's that for namedropping?

A friend is an MK Dons fan and has met KR a few times. Rates him and believes he is headed to the FAPL. His aim is clearly to establish himself as a Championship manager with us. After that let's see.

It was a defense of giving Robinson the chance to mold the group.

After that let's see. That's exactly what my mate at the meeting the other week was told SR. KR and RB both told him that they were confident that they would get us out of League 1 and then establish themselves as a top half Championship team, where we go after that would be up to Roland!

Kr wont take us to top half championship he not good enought took him 6 get out off league 1 he not in same class as 90 percent off mangers in champship he bottom 4 manager at best that questionable as he got relegated after taking 6 years to get their It took him five seasons, three of which were top six finishes. I know nothing of how they did in the play-offs before they finally made it. Regarding the Championship, around 75% of league position is determined by budgets available. Sheffield Wednesday have been spending £10M each summer on new players which explains how they've gone from mid-table to top six. Their accounts come out every February and that will show the full cost of last season with their new players including loans. What I'm saying is that, just like Charlton for the last four seasons, a bottom six budget will deliver bottom six performances. And that there are only a handful of outliers - for example Huddersfield this season.

It's true that Huddersfield Town's budget is not far off the bottom 6 of the Championship at c£12m... However, the main difference, in my opinion, why they've succeeded this year is Wagner and the transfer targets brought in, plus what he has got out of this group of players.... This journey started when he was appointed last year, and the signs were there towards the end of the last campaign.
Clearly having a good transfer budget is key to progression up the football ladder, but for me its about being cost effective, getting the right quality and attitude..... Huddersfield have spent around £3.5m this year and are in the top 6.... Aston Villa have spent £51m and are 16th.... so someone's getting this delicate balance right
