Good Afternoon, As I am sure you are all aware, Blackburn Rovers has gone from a well respected (your opnion may differ ) Premier League club, to now rock bottom of the Championship in the space of 6 years. Documents were released last week which includes Steve Keans contract. The begin date on this contract is when Sam Allardyce was still in charge. It shows he was on an obscene amount of money with bonuses for if we were in LEAGUE ONE!! Yes, that's right, we had Chris Samba, Phil Jones, Steven N'Zonzi, Roque Santa Cruz etc in our team and we were in the top half of the Premier League and this man was handed a contract for bonuses in League One. This is corrupt to the core, there are many, many more documents that came to light last week. The FA won't touch us with a barge pole as they don't want their 'Fit and Proper Owners' check being brought into disrepute. As the very well respected Sir Alex Ferguson once said, "You've got that issue at Blackburn of an agent involved and deciding the future of the club,Jerome Anderson, he couldn't pick his nose" The Venky family have not only ruined our club, they have also ruined our community. We used to love fans coming over to Ewood and taking over The Fernhurst and surrounding pubs, unfortunately we now long to see those days. A number of alleged Rovers documents which have been leaked (including the aforementioned contract) are all available publicly for download here: s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=854178631016059781552 days ago we set up a petition with a twist, to raise awareness of our campaign and also to raise money for East Lancashire Hospice, I know you've had recent ownership trouble and know a lot of you will feel our pain. All money goes to the Hospice and each donation is considered a 'signature' of no confidence in Venkys running of Blackburn Rovers. We have named the campaign '2 quid to get rid', please, if you can, donate to our petition either by texting VENK77 to 70070 followed by the amount you wish to donate, or by following the below link: www.justgiving.com/venkysoutEvery little helps, With respect, Mike

We have support from Portsmouth, Utd, Cardiff, Hull, Blackpool and even Burnley fans.
You'd sooner donate money to millionaires than a Hospice? Strange little boy.
Anyone kind enough to donate to charity instead of jealousy of something that happened over 20 years ago, please do.

mellison24 just to clarify matters a little in case you weren't aware, @1962 is a Leeds United supporter. All three of our Clubs are owned by people who have shown no respect for our traditions in the past. The natural reaction of many fans might be to wish to show solidarity, but I guess for some that does not extend to local rivalries and the grievances that come with them.

I will donate a couple of quid, I think all clubs that have been saddled with crap owners should stick together, whatever we think of one another! This is a problem the fans need to get together and fight, it might be any club that gets lumbered next, we need to pressure the FA/EFL to tighten up there rules, and monitor owners behavior.

Its simple mellison, just dont go anywhere near Ewood Park thats all the fans, let it be a empty stadium, the venkeys will then go away, football fans need to get a grip and start showing we are the most important cog in football, not the owners, not the greedy tossers who kick a ball about for 90 mins,i dont go anywhere near elland road with our coke head idiot in charge and in my view only my view i cant believe any leeds fan would want to go,fans are the problem going to the game when you have idiot owners, keep away and the owners will go away,if it means a couple of years with pain so be it,long term it will be worth it.

Difference is, I'll show you sympathy and empathy rather than insults. Thank you to the kind donor earlier if we're going to end corruption in football, use little guys need to sticky together. The 'fit and proper' test needs to be re-tested every year imo.

Rover's fall has had a big impact on the town and I think comparisons can be drawn between the clubs. Like us you'll be looking at homegrowns to fill the gaps although I think we could have Mahoney off you we need a winger with an eye for goal. Good luck with Coyle and son!

"big impact on the town" ,,, are you comparing London to Blackburn ? This is like saying the closure of Wombledon had a big impact on SW London ,, nope , it didnt , apart from more housing that is !

There weren't any protests mate, they're all down the nick!! Not a good situation. Police involved at Rovers too. Would love to think EFL and PL would begin to consider the future direction of our sport but I think apart from drinking with mates on an away day football is dying.

mellison24Mike, Would it be possible for you to give a brief summary of events during the Venky's ownership of Blackburn Rovers. I'm sure it's very disappointing that you're now struggling at the bottom of the Championship having only recently played in the Premier League, but in isolation this is neither remarkable or surprising. Bolton, Charlton and Sheffield United are among nine clubs currently playing in League One that I can recall playing in the top tier. Sheffield Wednesday, Wigan and Wolves have also recently played in League One. I'm sure that the Venky's have made mistakes, not least in their appointment of managers, but what's of more interest, perhaps, is what their strategy has been. Have they been investing in the club, in the squad and in infrastructure, or attempting to asset strip, for example. Is the problem simply incompetence or malign neglect? I'm aware that during August a mass of information alleging wrongdoing at Blackburn Rovers was leaked into the public domain and on to social media, but I don't know what the nature of those allegations was. What is it alleged that the Venky's have done and how did it compromise the interests of the football club? Genuine questions. Be interested in your reply. Thanks in advance.

I have read a lot about you and seen how people are towards you. I have to say I am slightly mystified by your post. I presume you disagree with protesting about RD but what do you see as a way out of this mess? How would you resolve this to all our benefit?
