At the AMEX stadium on Saturday.
A good chance to crank up the pressure on the clueless owners.

Brighton is always a great day out.
25,000 fans in unison "Stand up if you hate palice" always brings both sets of fans applauding each other.

They are obviously returning the favour when we helped them

Nice gesture - I was very supportive of their fans when they had their problems in the mid-late 90/ with their awful owner Archer. Attended games at the Goldstone and Priestfield and still look for their results.
It would be great if we could get them and our fans singing on Saturday in protest at the shambolic running of our club. Wonder if anybody from a fans group is bothering to liaise with some of their fans online, to arrange the plan of action? Hope so, but after the feeble attempt to protest on live TV yesterday I won't hold my breath

If some rival fans at away matches are willing to support our protests that is heartening news.
I see Brighton (the Club) want £32 for an away ticket, which is excessive in my opinion. But that isn't the fault of their supporters.
Although on one level it hurts what is left of my pride that we need the backing of other football fans, the cause is more important than default tribalism to me. A one-off display of fan solidarity at the Amex Stadium will be much appreciated. The Brighton supporters are in fine form of course with things going so well for them. If I was going, I think I would be impressed and even put to shame a little, to see a stadium packed with fans enjoying their football and in full voice - the way things should be.
The Valley has been almost a ghost town for so long now, that such a sight would be worth £32 just to see.

A nice gesture on the part of Brighton fans who in my view are real football fans, I have a lot of time for them as a club and I am pleased for them that they have a stadium to be proud of and that they are going so well in the league, if any set of fans know about poor owners and bad times it's them which makes their current form so pleasing. The fact that they have an eye on our plight speaks volumes for them as a set of fans, they are decent enough to remember our help back then and hopefully we can utilise a bit of their help now.

This post on there gave me a laugh.... Isn't there a Belgian connection somewhere (i.e. the owner)? If true I suppose there could be a mass chucking on the pitch of Brussels sprouts as a protest.

Opposition fans want to help our fans unsettle our players by protesting againt our club, thus increasing the odds that they wallk away with three points? Yep. Reckon I'd do the same for them.

Opposition fans want to help our fans unsettle our players by protesting against our club, thus increasing the odds that they walk away with three points? Yep. Reckon I'd do the same for them. No disrespect intended to the "2%" leaflet protest on Saturday, but the volume of the chant at the two minute stage would scarcely have unsettled the skin on a rice pudding. If our players were unsettled by that - knowing full well that supporters are not protesting against them - then they are severely lacking focus or fortitude. Hiding behind excuses for a poor performance instead of taking it on the chin and resolving to do better shows an equal lack of character.
Not having been to an away match this season I don't know whether or not our fans sing and support to begin with, then lose patience when things go downhill on the pitch. I hope they are not now so collectively miserable that they don't start out at least with a few rousing choruses of 'Valley Floyd Road'. But I can imagine patience has worn very thin. That's one of the reasons there are protests at all. We are sliding out of the Championship, and angry fans will not just accept our fate with a shrug of resignation. I believe a little honesty can earn a huge amount of respect and patience among fans, and help to boost support. But the players and the coach are not being honest when they hide behind excuses. They take the plaudits for good performances. They should accept responsibility for poor ones.

There is a thread on this subject on the Brighton forum northstandchat , its worth a read , well most of it . I've just read the thread, and although a fair number of comments are supportive of us and our plight, it seems a lot of Brifhton fans have very short and/or selective memories. During their dark days of Archer and Bellotti fans of many other clubs lent their support, attending the very first Fans United day. I attended games at The Goldstone, Priestfield and away games to offer my support during those bad times. Having dropped down the leagues they were one game from dropping into the Conference - but a team of players all pulling together in the right direction, managed by our own Steve Gritt, survived. Fast forward to today and Brighton have a good owner, fantastic stadium, good manager and players and are hopefully on the way to the greed league. The least they could do on Saturday is lend their voices and support to us in our time of need. I'm not going to the game but I hope all of our fans who attend really make their protesting voices heard - unlike the shambles on Saturday. And I hope lots of Brighton fans join in; send a loud message to Meire.

From that thread: "The one thing you don't do in a city where there are plenty of opportunities to watch football is piss off your loyal fans" 3,000 ST holders not showing up suggests that Katrien Meire has alienated more than 2% of the fanbase.

...Palice are not our rivals? Hmmmm DFT doesn't think so, and neither did Guy Luzon. Along with our identity, it seems the remains of our pride is being removed as well. Perhaps we are better off without it. The next time one of our former rivals gives us a thumping, maybe it won't hurt quite so much.
