Both looked very good acquisitions when they came on and added extra quality that you don't often see late in the game.
As for Johnson he mistimed a couple of headers that got caught in the wind early doors but went on to have another very solid game for us as did Joe Gomez, an old head on young shoulders.

Johnson and Gomez were solid, Diarra looked stylish in his cameo and Eagles carried on causing them problems after Watt came off.

I'll hold my view on Diarra as Hudders were totally shot by then, but it's good playing time for him and hopefully will take over from Buyens eventually who was the one sour note on a good performance otherwise. I like Johnson, but both CB's were a bit caught by some high balls early on, but Gomez will benefit from playing alongside someone like Johnson.

I was interested to see how Eagles and Diarra, when they came on, would effect the momentum of the team. I need not have worried. Eagles looked dangerous and capable of scoring and Diarra fitted in well and when fully fit, will be very good additions to the team.

Just remembered Johnson is playing with a cracked rib, so they may account for his difficulty with the high ball on saturday. Particularly when being challenged.

Gomez is fantastic prospect, he was basically holding Diarra's hand in defence in he first half. Won't be long before his snapped up by a perm team. As for Eagles, impressed with him, finally a number 10, gets in the hole between the midfield and strikers. Hopefully he will push on for a starting place now

The players that have come in have settled in well.
With Chris E and Johnson they have been on big wages so will be interesting to see if they are with us next season. Another interesting summer awaits. I suppose there will be a few debuts being made on the opening day.

I believe Eagles has been told and he's confirmed that there's a contract for him next season if he impresses, so there's a definite incentive there for him, he needs to settle down in one place, he's moving around too much. Johnson I'm not sure if it's the same deal for him. If we were to sign him then I'd expect one of TBH or Bikey to leave in the summer and have Gomez as 3rd CB.

Would love to see Bikey leave but his contract isn't up until next year whilst ben Haim's is. Bikey really is a calamity waiting to happen, he does amuse me but at the same time he infuriates me, I am surpised ben haim doesn't have a panic attack when he sees he is playing next to him. Kudos to Luzon, at least he has spotted that bikey is a weak link and bought in a replacement.

It's great we have choices and I'm sure we won't have a squad issue next season. I like Bikey although he has had his moments! For me the priority has to be to get Gomez on a long term deal else they will have to cash in this summer. Think I'm right in saying he only has a year left?
Ben Haim is out of contract so perhaps it's a choice between him and Johnson or maybe both are signed?
