That is a very good win for them tonight ridgeback, Lommel Utd are one of the best 'home' teams in Belgium.

Offer him to Swindon on a season long loan plus cash and get Michael Smith back.

This was at the weekend in a game that ended 2-2 against Seriesen the Belgian club that have three names! RWD Borinage and Seraing Utd are the other two that they are known under!. It's at 00:33 seconds ridgeback and a fine take and excellent finish too.
I have to say he looks like he is coming along very nicely and on course to be better than anything else we have bar Igor.

Great news - either he's good enough to help us out or he might fetch a fee. As I keep saying, part of the development at CAFC will take time as young players develop. Give it another 12 months and we will be in a good place.

Not so long ago he was being cited by the haters of anything and everything Belgian as evidence that RD didn't know diddly squat about football! (Although Harriott has actually looked better than Igor in the last two or three matches?)

I doubt it was RD's decision to send PP to St Truiden.

I doubt it was RD's decision to send PP to St Truiden. According to Phil Chapple in his interview with Richard Wiseman in the Trust newsletter, it is the man PC calls "The President" who "takes a view as to where a player's value can be maximised". Although clearly el presidente reaches his decisions based on expert advice from his various managers, CEOs and scouts... Who knows how it all works? But those who repeatedly tried to tell us Duchatalet is a fool who doesn't know what he is doing and can't tell a srtriker from a stinker should just take a look at who lives in the bigger house!

I think you need to read Duchatelet's personal profile and catch up on his career history. I assure you he has not made his fortune from sending young strikers to the Belgian second division but I guess you know this anyway and have just chosen another thread to say the direct opposite to what I have just for the sake of it. It gets boring after a while.

They clearly took a view before the new signings on who was going to help this season and who wasn't. In the same way we received some spare players last January from Liege, we would have offered a list to the other network clubs. I can't remember when that network tournament was exactly but there was a clear opportunity for coaches to cut deals on loans. This, along with the academy reduces (not eliminates) the need to rely on agents and hard cash to improve. Every club except Liege is doing better than 12 months ago. But Staprix has not shelled out a fortune. There will be mistakes but this network means a mistaken signing at Cafc can help another club. It will become clearer if clubs like Alcorcun and STTV secure promotion. Perhaps then they will develop players who can really help us. When you look at nutter chairman throwing £10-15m a year at clubs and not getting promoted it all looks very sensible. Millwall are losing £1,000 per year for each and every one of their regular fans. That's a pretty fat subsidy for a season ticket...why would that continue for any length of time?

I'll be logging out now and will maybe think about returning in the new year. Have a good Christmas. You will have a better one if you can stop thinking the whole world is against you and try to remember who your friends and supporters are.

There are head coaches, scouts, football analysts, lawyers and accountants all over this. M.Duchatelet is setting budgets and targets and has a hand in the various building projects but he isn't picking the team. Once again, it doesn't look that pretty just yet but we are on an upwards curve and this isn't being achieved just by throwing money at it.

Looks good but he is at quite a low level isn't he? How does it compare to the Championship?
Does anyone know his scoring stats this season at all?

Played 90 minutes in the last two games. Sint-Truiden is goodLeague one level at the moment imo. Needs more power, technically good and can score a goal, hard working.

We have Reza and Piotr out on loan scoring. A top Championship side needs four decent strikers. Perhaps one of these two can claim a slot in our squad for January or next August. Not saying they are the complete answer for we definitely need new talent. But are they better than Church, Tucudean and Piggott who are the current three candidates to play with Vetokele. If this challenge is saved by August 2015 then we have progress. If not then.. Well no one needs to spell it out as we go back to bottom half championship.

Sorry Reams. Mehdi LAZAAR scored in minute 6', after a beautiful one-two combination with PP. PP was changed after 60 minutes. This is normal at STVV.They have a very young squad and a young coach Yannick FERRERA,who rotates a lot. FERRERA is much appreciated by RD, but he did not want to risk his carreer by appointing him as head coach of STANDARD at this moment.

Sint Truiden are a very good well run club who are running away with the second division and I can see RD selling SL and investing heavily in them.
