Paid £20k out of his own pocket for two young players who were find £10k each despite the fact they earn less than £20k per week.
Scott spoke to the manager on their behalf but the manager would not back down so Scott paid the fines.

He's a decent bloke really, always has been. Just made a bad decision when he went to Chelsea. I told him so too.

It could be argued that he was undermining the authority of the manager by this action!

Yes, but who decides whether the manager is a dick or not? It shouldn't be the players who act, but the board.

Not sure that trebling your wages and wanting to play in Europe is necessarily a bad decision. Not good for us though.

Nice move by Parker. Especially as the two youth players are on less than £20K per week. You have to wonder how they survive tbh.

Guess they would have had to struggle by on 10K that week. Still perhaps the fines could have been offset against tax. Any idea Jonkool? Nice sentiment by Scottie, but I think that money could have been given somewhere more deserving.
