iMacTof: At the match I announce @ AnthonyWatt32 is the new Charlton striker. #rscl #mercato
I don't know much about him but he has just signed a five year contract at Standard Liege for over a million.

I remember you saying how good he was and you hoped we would get him one day from SL ....

Show me where, because I have seen most of their games this season and he is hopeless.

Would be very dissapointed if our plan B after delort was just a loan player from Liege

Maybe one loan striker and one perm? Then I suppose Watt would make sense. Surely he must be better than Church or Pigott?

If he is coming I hope we get another striker to start alongside Igor, I can't see Watt being any better than George to be honest.

Shit as in did you miss out the hot or just generally a pile of steaming turd. Attitude problem is his main undoing, perhaps that's why SL want to offload so soon, he's bad news. He caused problems at Lierse too, he lives off the goal he scored against Barcelona forgetting that since that night his career has gone down hill. www.lierse.com/en/news/reaction-lierse-tony-watt-interview

Can't see the point - it will spoil what has been achieved so far

Let rumours be rumours as I'm sure BP has it all under control and can't see him accepting any swops for first teamers after what has been achieved and also I'm sure Vetokele is loving life at se7 so would he want to go!! It just people trying to disrupt the positivity that is coming out our club IMO...

Lets hope that this time tomorrow we've bagged ourselves a couple decent players.

Apparently it's going to be a quiet transfer deadline day at Charlton according to the newshopper bloke on twitter

Now on SSN that Delort has gone to Wigan for an undisclosed fee - maybe RD's hardball meant they called his bluff. Time will tell if we missed out on anything. Let's hope, as has been said before, that we have a plan B - Igor needs more help than just George and Church/Piggot

He looks over the moon at having signed for Wigan from the picture I've seen of him on Facebook. Squad number 49 so he is in line to be picked after the groundsman lol.

Thank goodness the Delort saga is over!
Mind, he and Whelan would have looked bloody stupid, if the deal had fallen through after Saturday's display.

Hi guys,
Sorry Delort has not signed to CAFC. I will follow him with Wigan. I think that Duchatelet make a big mistake and want to be smarter that he is in realty. Tours president reach his goal, with the deal.
Thanks a lot for your welcoming. Hope you reach premier league.

The French leagues aren't that good and your president wanted an inflated sum for a player who has yet to light the Championship on fire.

I think we could really do with some extra legs...mentally and physically it will lift us all - Buyens looked tired yesterday and it showed with our tempo. We have a good run of fixtures in Oct and Nov - we mustn't lose our ability to compete.
