As the idiot who gave Church two years.
I can fart quicker than what Morrison can run and as for Church this guy really needs to be sold, given away or paid up, we need him out of the building.

He got the contract so not much we can do. Not the worst we've ever had. Llera used to give me chest pains.

I don't particularly rate Morrison. He is slow. I do think though that he is a leader at the back. I like one CB to be decisive - it helps to keep the defence tight as a unit. A bit like the paceless John Terry does so effectively with more pacier defenders around him.

We need a serious CB then the rest can fight out between them who partners him. I just don't rate the back four at all at the moment.

I think Morrison is the best and most consistent centre back we've had for years, but he absolutely needs to be paired with somebody quick to make up for his lack of pace. I have a feeling Morro and Gomez might work, whereas Morro and Ben Haim could be a disaster

Reams how can you seriously compare Morro to Church

My preferred CB partnership to start at Brentford is Gomez plus AN Other.
This season will go one of two ways - either the players will gel & we will be the 'surprise package', or else RD has underestimated the championship again, the changes don't work & Peeters will be quickly gone.
Hard to tell at the moment. The team has a real "patchwork quilt" look about it, as if it has been thrown together.

Gomez and Morro for me,and I know what you mean about the quilt part,I think that will work itself out after the Spain trip, when BP (hopefully) has worked out who he can use and who he cannot, and developed the team shape a little more to his style.

What are you basing the inclusion of Gomez on? Yes he is a very good defender but The Championship is a big step up for him, you can't say that because he was excellent in an U18 Tournament, very comfortable against a Belgian 2nd Division team and the stand out player at a Conference club that he is going to be as effective at a level he has never played before.

Pair Bikey with Gomez. Experienced defender and young wonderkid. Perfect combination. Ben Haim and Morro should be backup.
I understand why we kept Morro and Jacko for this season, but we need to either get rid of or sell them after this one. They simply aren't good enough.

I would like to see if he can cut it to be honest mate,no other reason than that,if he is the wonderkid we all think he is then they usually start coming to the forefront at this age and stamping a mark for themselves in a team, especially at championship level. Time to give the lad his chance in my book.

Class and potential. Also an Academy product whom fans can feel an affinity with.

Not criticising anybody's choice to play him but it's a big ask at the moment but I agree he is class for his age.

I've got a feeling that he'll start Gomez, partly because of his potential, but partly because we'll be more patient with him if the early results don't go our way than we would be with Bikey or Ben Haim
