So with bob Peeters on board and RD prepared to throw the money around based on the half a million he is prepared to pay Barnsley for Chris O'Grady who might be the realistic targets that Peters might be looking to bring across the North sea with him?
Top of the tree therefore in every department therefore the one unlikely arrival from the names below would be Zulte Waregem midfielder Thorgan Hazard but I have thrown him in because actually he is a Chelsea player out on loan to Zulte last season so who knows?
Being more realistic which was the idea of this thread, another Zulte midfielder, Idrissa Sylla the scorer of 9 goals in 27 games from midfield this season could well be on the wanted list.
Lokeren may also be targeted and their Jewel in the crown is Tunisian striker Hamdi Harbaoui who netted 22 in 36 games last season, Kortrijk's Croatian striker Ivan Santini may also be on the Peeters radar.
FC Brugge have a 19 year old centre back called Björn Engels who scores goals and at 6ft 4" he should do too.

Hamdi harbaoui I would love mate always banged in goals and 50 in 125 really isn't a bad return a really eye for goal, let's see what happens reams but I for one am actually slightly optimistic, let's just see what happens and where this will take us on to after today is a new day at cafc!

Don't mention your optimism to Royston or American - the Belgique connection are the devil's spawn according to the Chuckle Brothers!

On football rumours today we were linked with a Belgian 21 year old keeper playing for Hoffenheim. He's also in the Belgian World Cup squad - Koen Casteels

Audrey Hepburn and Kim Clijsters. Can we have a proper contribution?

If I lived in Germany Hoffenheim would be my club, they score for fun, unfortunately they concede the same amount with 70 goals going in at each end last season, watching them must be like watching basketball. Tell you what though, Volland, Modeste, Firmino and Salihovic know where the goals are, 50 between them.

The Champ is a mega hard league - surely we need a few Brits as well?

Alan judge loan has ended at Brentford. They want him back but I would like to think we could outbid them. Blackburn seen to have no interest in him

Judge has lost his way and his confidence to be honest, he needs a fresh start so why not, I like Paul Coutts too who has not been seen since dislocating a knee against Leicester last September. He was expected to be out for 5 months but their form made it difficult for him to break back into the side.

Those Hoffenheim players would destroy Championship defences mate, one of the most potent strike forces in Germany.

Audrey Hepburn and Kim Clijsters. Can we have a proper contribution? Was half being serious. Hepburn for club "mascot" and Clijsters is likely a better athlete than half our squad last season!

Don't mention your optimism to Royston or American - the Belgique connection are the devil's spawn according to the Chuckle Brothers! Fuck me! I've been one of the most optimistic people around here during the end of last season! I'm not Anti-Duchatelet, i'm Pro-Charlton. I have no problem with Belgians playing for Charlton either, as long as they aren't low quality numpties that are good enough for the team. My issues are; 1. Riga, Dyer and the like lifting their lids about what it is like dealing with Rolly 2. How poor our January transfers were 3. The level of uncertainty around the team 4. I genuinely don't think Peeters will do well and is nothing more than a yes man. With that said, i'm going to support the team and support Peeters. I've supported CAFC since Curbs was manager. I put up with all the shit during Dowie, Reed, Pardew and Parky. I just don't think Rolands network is very good, that's all.

Santini has just put Kortijk 2-0 up at Standard Liege. Roland is there so hopefully he will have taken my advice earlier on in this thread!!

Realistic ? Thorgan HAZARD is on loan at Borussia Mönchengladbach till the end of June 2015. Loan fee 1.5 million euros. They would like to buy him on a permanent base. Estimated value of the player is 10 million euros. Chelsea will take a decision before september 2015, as Thorgan will be training and playing at Chelsea in the summer of 2015.

But very fast and scoring. It's always a risk. We already have that in Igor, what we need is a foil for him not a player who is similar.

Almost a year to the day from when I started this thread I understand that Igor De Camargo is about to become the latest player to hop it over to Quatar and the player Standard have got their eye on to replace him is Ivan Santini the Kortrijk striker who I have mentioned a few times in this thread previously.

12 months on from my touting of Ivan Santini it appears to have paid off, problem is he is going to the wrong club and is set to join Standard Liege who will pay nearly €2m to Kortrijk for the Croatian striker.
The player appeared to be heading for Genk but the player prefers Standard and will sign in the coming days.
