You are both wrong the new investors are Turkish and their company logo is this. This is all I am saying for now. The company name will be a little bit embarrassing for us, I hope the name isn't on the front of the shorts!! The Swedish guy was a serious contender but I believe that in the end it came down to who can spend the most on the team.other group offered more money. The chairman of the company is:

Patience is the key here. There are interested parties and they all see Charlton Athletic as a very viable investment. I believe your manager said some days ago that the club needs to be ready for any further advancement on the pitch and off of it. The plan is ahead of schedule. Things should not and will not be rushed.

angeldust I noticed that you have not ridiculed my naming the potential buyers. Perhaps you would like to tell the audience that I am bang on the money naming the Koc (Pronounced Koch) family as the party currently in the driving seat.

Sorry mate I thought you were also saying that the Swedish fella was the man in pole position.
If you know what I do cafc101 then you'll also know that there are some big signings on the way in January, if we are in the top half of the table by then, who knows what could happen come May.

Not sure about that, KOC Holding is the only Turkish company to be listed in Fortune Global 500 list. They ranked KOC at 248 for the year 2011.
There might even be a link up with Fenerbahçe in there somewhere too as Ali Yıldırım Koç who is the youngest son of Rahmi Koç is their vice-president.

Do you just know that there are big signings soon or do you know names? ( don't feel you have to say names if you don't want to upset anyone or give up a source )

No names, I just know that they are willing to splash he cash, they want to own a Premiership club and the best way they see themselves doing it is by buying a Championship one and bank rolling it.

That I don't know sammy but I would imagine that they are aware of the fact that if they want to do anything major this season, they have one transfer window to do something about it and there is still plenty of time according to the link below. Look at Reading's stats after 18 games last season:Won 6 Drawn 6 Lost 6 Points 24 Does that ring any bells? Our stats thus far this season:Won 6 Drawn 6 Lost 6 Points 24 Oh and their away form was better than their home form too!!! www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-championship/2011-2012/table/2011-11-26Another comparison is that it was announced in January 2012 that Russian businessman Anton Zingarevich made a bid to take over the club and he formally purchased the club on the 29th of May 2012. In between those dates he was already pumping money into them and they went on a fantastic run to get promoted. Meanwhile over at the Valley a year later as we approach January 2012..............Similar things are taking place.

hope they got plenty to blow, we would need 5- 10 mill just to be a top 6 side in this league ! and a complete new squad ,,, god forbid,,,, if we got promoted !

I think it's takeover (possibly), then a few new signings in Jan, mid table finish, then when contracts expire like Taylor, Sullivan etc and we can get rid of most of the players we got for our L1 season then spend the money on basically a new squad and push for play offs.

If this does come off, I hope this doesnt mean we end up with Harry Redknapp once he's guided QPR to relegation

Amusing as it may be there is a large company Koc Holdings. And I bet we'd sell loads of shirts with that on. Seems a lot of trouble to go to just to wind up CL.
