Hope he doesn't get greedy then like with the Stephens deal. He could find he is left holding the baby. I hope he takes the money and runs.

Paul Elliott,a regular in meetings with potential suiters, appears to have been left out in the cold at present for one reason or another. Not sure of the reason for this but all may become clear soon. As far as future investment is concerned I'd ask you to remember that these things are never cut and dry. What looked like a good thing last week may have lost it's shine by the next. And that works both ways.Sit tight

Ladbrokes odds to win The Championship - 125/1, e/w at 1/5th place odds 1,2,3.
These will tumble if Koc buy into CAFCH,

Meaning the Scandinavian won't take no for an answer? I told you he's not going away quietly. I heard he was at The Grosvenor with MS and TJ today.

The guy above might not be the underdog that we have him down for. Don't know about The Grosvenor story but he HAS been spending a lot of time with TJ away from the Valley. Not sure who favours who the most at the moment but the KOC deal is lock, stock and barrel kind of out with the old in with the new where as Persson would be in no rush to dispose of Jiminez and Slater's input. Persson has indicated already that he is prepared to put his money where his mouth is, this may explain the cash injection set aside for January.

As Slater and Jimenez don't communicate I would imagine that would be a very fun trio.

Reams,is there still two bidders on the table?.

All depends what you mean by bidders, there are at least two interested parties I know that much for sure but if I said anything more without confirmation from my source I would be guessing. In terms of what cash is available to CP in January I have heard that it is more than what Luckybstard has predicted tonight but we'll just have to wait and see.

I have heard an amount spoken about and it starts with a 10, mind you that was in Bartrams so it could have moaning over the price of a round ? But I think not.

Well if its 10 something then I'm certain that all of that can't be for team building. Would seem the sort of figure that would allow money to be spent on the team but also to cover our seasonal losses. Even one third of that sum if it were to be available to Powell could make a huge difference to the season. Exiting news if true.

I understand that there was an offer made for the club at the back end of last week. This is still thought to be under consideration. There are contrasting views as too the current value of the club and this is proving to be a bit of a sticking point. The current owners are by no means desperate to sell.

angledust the new owners are not desperate to sell because the interest alone has brought KC back to the table. The offer made at the back end of last week included a down payment now with the balance being dependent on what division we are in next season.
Of course what happens next we shall just have to wait but Cash refused to provide the money for team strengthening in the summer because the agreed date was January 2013........providing we were in the top half of the table with a realistic chance of achieving something. Well we are where we had to be so do the board stick or twist?

From a 'phone conversation I've had tonight TJ is keen to move on as the existing funding is not all coming from the orignal source, but through his wheeling and dealing.
I have heard that two bids have been made for two different scenarios (from the same people), but being the astute businessman he is, TJ is trying to keep his fingers in other pies.
One of those being the courtship of Mr Petersen, who to my knowledge hasn't made any bid.
There has also been serious contact made from a third party - though I have no idea who that is.

You did not say that the conversation was with TJ, it could have been anyone at the other end of the 'phone for all we know. In other words, more hearsay.

addickted you have said nothing there that I didn't say a week ago as far as the two different scenarios are concerned, my post is in the quote above.
Petersen wants to work with Jiminez and not buy him out.
The new interest as you put it is English based.
