Personally I don't like it looks like somebody has thrown the design together at the last minute. Charlton chief executive Steve Waggott said: "I am delighted to form an exciting partnership with such a reputable and renowned brand through an innovative agreement which will develop many different benefits to both organisations.
"It is the culmination of a long journey by our commercial team to find the right sponsor for the club, and I am looking forward to working with the JD Group."Why set out on a long journey to only end up securing a one year deal? but in saying that it's just as well because I don't think this kit is Charlton at all. In my opinion if we are sponsored by JD Sports that is the name we should have on the shirt, as for being a well known brand Ive never heard of it, infact before I read the above I thought it was a cheap wine!! images.newsquest.co.uk/image.php?id=1003255&type=full

I like it, it is instantly recognisable, original and eye-catching. As for having JD Sports on the shirt well, Carbrini is a name they are trying to promote and we should be pleased that they see Charlton as a club with a high enough profile to promote a new brand. I am very happy with this deal, slightly worried that it is only a 1 year deal and seems to be bonus based but it is up to us to go out and earn the bonuses and to me shows confidence at board level that we can earn the bonuses. I am happy!

I like the home and there is nothing too bad or good about the away one, it is very similar to one we had about 3 years ago. As long as Paddy McCarthy isn't wearing it I will be happy! Regarding the 1 year deal, I think it will give us the chance to re-negotiate a better deal if we get promoted.

JOMA, are they no longer involved? if still our shirt sponsor is their Logo hidden within the design, thus hiding 'Joma' from easy viewing on tv?
Are JD Sports our Club or new shirt sponsors or both?
Don't lke the away strip at all and those socks are disgusting, the designs look like a school painting project, done by the pupils for a laugh.

home socks should be predomenantly red, there's far too much white on that kit. the more i look at them the more underwhelmed i feel, but i do like the away socks!

I agree talal the home one looks to be not so bad after all apart from the socks, why could they not have ended at the red at the top instead of another few inches of white above it.
As for the away socks they really are out of fashion. Those hoops are ridiculous and the shrunken badge does not have an identity where it is on the shirt.
All in all very disappointing cheapened by the sponsors name black background, a few spins in the washing machine and that will turn grey believe me.

VV, JD Sports are our new club sponsor, although we will be carrying the logo of one of their particular clothing 'brands', Carbrini Sportswear. Joma still remain the manufacturers of our particular kit, hence why they have a small logo on the breast of our shirts. That's a much better picture, Reams. I actually quite like the home shirt, although it is ruined by the sponsor's logo. It would be better with a nice, clean white font aying 'JD Sports'. I think that would look quite modern, but the black and white text makes it look a bit odd. The away shirt is still a shocker though, which is a shame as I reckon a white/red/black combo is the way to go regarding away shirts. I think they should have just reversed the colour scheme of the home shirt. Anyone seen the new goalie kits incidently? A nice slimming black for Weaver?

Here's a better pic!! They're not too bad i suppose, even so i won't be buying either of 'em. The only shirt i've liked enough to buy in recent years was the black away one.

On closer inspection it would appear that the home socks will have red going down the back of them similar to Bristol City's last season which I think enhances the strip further.
