I was referring to the same as you Appy as they seem to rate him and think that he is Championship quality which I agree with you............ he is a long long way from.
It is the one topic that I read on all Charlton sites that truly amazes me as so many Addicks fans seem to think that he is the business.......Im sorry but he might be for a lower league club but for him to be involved at our level he has a lot of learning and a hell of a lot of improving to do as he is and should be well down the pecking order in my book.

Frustratingly I was at Watford when he was put clear through with a one on one with the keeper in the dying minutes...it was pathetic....he was like a rabbit caught in the headlights, completely fooked it up and allowed their keeper to quite comfortably rob him. He didn't even get a shot off....a truly dismal attempt and one which ultimately cost us two valuable points. I suspect that that moment lodged very firmly in Pardew & Co's memory banks....I know it's still in mine!

Reams, I don't mean to be rude, but have you seen him play live? I saw him a few times including the FA Cup replay at the Hawthorns and he looked really sharp when he came on - indeed he changed the game and could have won it for us. Sure he ain't the finished article but I think he's got something.

No bing I have not seen him play live to be honest but what I have seen of him I still say to be involved at our level he has a lot of learning and improving to do.
Gray has not reproduced his Burnley form with us neither Varney his Crewe prowess the same can even be said of Iwelumo so I really don't see how Dixon can improve ahead of them given that he has come from non league football the step up is far too big for anybody to expect him to lead the line next season.
Yes he can put the ball in the net from inside the 18 yard box but from what I have seen and read he doesn't seem to have an awful lot as far as the rest of his game goes.
I agree with you saying that he ain't the finished article, nobody in the right mind would expect that of him yet, and he may well have something it all depends how fast he learns and matures but next season is far too soon.
It isn't Dixon so much that I disagree with it's the fans who seem to think that he will be our main striker next season and are therefore pinning their hopes on him......... to me that is ludicrous

it's Dickson!!!!! sorry but it's not that hard a name to get right.
how many times have you seen him Reams? I'm guessing probably the same number as me so I don't see how you can make a judgment on such little time.
and i think being able to "put the ball in the net from inside the 18 yard box" is quite a useful quality to have.

I think you have just answered the question talal.
Why do you think it is that we have hardly seen him?

the reason we have not seen him that much is because of an injury that he is in fact recovering from

He's all energy but lacks the skill in seeing a team mate in a better poisition and passing, when Pardew can open Dickson's eyes and make him a team player, he could be a major assit.
Perhaps, like Youga he needs to go on loan to learn these skills and come back in January the wiser.

I think you have just answered the question talal. Why do you think it is that we have hardly seen him? maybe because he spent time out on loan and the injury. we haven't seen much of Shelvey either, doesn't mean he aint gonna be any good
