Already a big game next Sunday , Nathan Jones has a couple of offers on the table already from elsewhere - the CEO appointment is key , one name being mentioned is not wanted by Jones and could see him walk into another job. Let’s enjoy the next week but would be an interesting few weeks post game!

For NJ to have a couple of offers on the table he would had to have been given permission by us to speak to other clubs. I very much doubt that's happened therefore If those offers have come in it would have been illegally poached so like I say I don't believe this story at all.

call bs call what you like but let’s see who the CEO is. That will be crucial.
I think you’ll find every manager / players speaks to clubs without permission being granted . Agents work wonder.
Won’t comment anymore but let’s see what happens with the CEO there’s one that key people already at the club don’t want.

Why have they decided someone who is not going to work well within our current successfully working infrastructure? Why would they risk NJ leaving? How did you come across this information please? Not digging you out, just interested...

Surely it's the key people you mention who appoint new staff so if they don't want him then he won't be given the gig! Unless of course there is new money coming in and any new owner would want their own CEO?

There is a bit of the Groucho Marx “I’d never join a club that would have me as a member” about this.
Nobody truly as ITK as implied here would even think about posting such important detail on a public forum.

It would be very charlton wouldn’t it he can’t have talks if we haven’t given permission under Tan they’re a basket case I would argue we’re as big a club as Cardiff if not bigger

I’d be absolutely amazed if he dropped back into League One—especially with Vincent Tan as the owner. If I were in charge at Cardiff, I’d be looking at someone more realistic like Dave Challinor or Des Buckingham. Edit. Just to add to the mix on another Cardiff forum it has the headline Buckingham to sign in the next 48 hours!

The thing with jones that bothers me is that he has this reputation of jumping ship from club to club.

Cardiff fans think their a clause in Jones contract where if Cardiff come calling he can leave for Cardiff

This rumour’s come from a so-called journalist, Annis Abraham—who, from what I gather, used to be a Cardiff City hooligan. Apparently, he’s written seven books, but according to other Cardiff fans, they’re full of spelling mistakes. I’ve been reading through some old threads on the Cardiff forums, and there’s a fair bit of criticism suggesting he just spouts rubbish. Only yesterday he was claiming Des Buckingham was going to be the new Cardiff manager! Maybe he is in the know—I’ve got no idea—but unless it’s on the official site, I’d take it all with a pinch of salt. Now let’s just focus on which ex-players we can re-sign this summer instead... (that last bit’s a joke, by the way!).

I would honestly be astounded if Jones left for any club mentioned here.
The only thing that would even loosely resemble a possibility is if our budget is so light this year that Jones thinks there's no chance at all for our survival and wants to get his dream position while his stock's high. Assuming that isn't the case and we have even the slightest chance, so many reasons he wouldn't want to go.
Firstly he has repeatedly said he's joined here for a long-term project. He's being backed and clearly in favour with the ownership structure - having just bought in his own Chief Scout and Hylton on a coaching contract. Plymouth are newly relegated and a small club compared to Charlton so might as well count them out (unless they're planning to do a Birmingham).
Cardiff is the only emotional draw for Jones, but with a basket case owner like Tan, really can't see that happening. He'll have no stability, his day to day will be under question and will not have 10% of the freedom he has here. So would be a very bizzare thing to do.

Probably just some Palace or Millwall weirdos making stuff up. Jones don’t even like telling people about bloody injuries let alone his future employment prospects.

Apparently Jones is unhappy with our budget for new players if that be the case then it’s not good sign I don’t believe it for what it’s worth

Are you saying the Club have given Cardiff permission to speak to Jones? And in-fact, gave him permission two weeks ago to have offers made?
