Anderson and Dixon called up for Jamaica.
Kanu injured!?
I know it's not great timing as Posh have just slapped Cambs and we're not great at the moment, but was hoping this fixture goes ahead as planned.
Hopefully the club will clarify tomorrow one way or the other, still able to purchase tickets on the website.

Just been postponed as Thierry Small has been called up to England’s Elite League Squad for November's internationals.
Formerly England’s U20s, the Young Lions are in action at Chesterfield against Germany on Friday, November 15th (KO 7pm GMT) before taking on Poland in Pulawy on Tuesday, November 19th (KO 4pm GMT).

Frustrating for fans who were planning to go to the game and can’t easily make a midweek fixture, but this has to be the right decision. We are struggling as it is and there is no upside in playing this game without Anderson, Dixon, Small and the injured T Campbell and Jones et al.
Also a chance for Jones to regroup and rethink. I wonder if this might change the way he approaches Tuesday’s match against Bromley?

I recall going in the past to 3 games at home against Peterborough, a 2-0 win just after we'd got promoted, a 2-2 draw when we scored 2 goals right at the death and a 0-1 with a late penalty against us.

I bought 3x Tickets for this so pretty pissed this will be presumably moved to some dingy Tuesday evening in December, that I'll almost certainly won't be able to go to!

Given the club knew this fixture might be postponed it’s not unreasonable to expect them to have made it very clear to anyone buying tickets that this was a risk. Are you able to get a refund?

The Clubs website message provides the email address for refunds …. I had 4 tickets booked for a lads day out including a trip to the Valley … I’ve put my claim in

To be fair this was always an international weekend. I booked a holiday, months ago, on the basis that I expected our game might be called off. The club can only do so much.
They will refund tickets right up to 24 hours before kickoff - without any need to give a reason.

Is it too late for us to call this game off? The best result considering our current form and it might help if we have some of the walking wounded back!

With so many League 1 games now being cancelled during International weekends (and some League 2), why not bring a halt to all matches in the top 4 divisions on these weekends. This way fans know where they are and are not mucked about. The same can be said for those businesses, for example, local pubs and retialers, that arrange for extra staff or supplies for these days, only to find they've become supplus to requirement when games are cancleed just a few days beforehand. And if The League say that there is no room in the calendar to for these fixtures to go, then let's get rid of this Mickey Mouse competition we're playing in tonight.

With 46 league games, the Bristol Motors cup and the two real cups there are, already too many midweek games. Guaranteeing three or four more for all third and forth division clubs doesn’t make sense, in my view.

You'd have thought they should be able to free up the previous mid week and give clubs the option to play Saturday or the Tues/Weds before, I'm sure they'll all play Saturday for the revenue, sod the loss of a few U18s who barely make the bench.
I've always thought loan players shouldn't be included when deciding if a fixture can be cancelled, as they tend to be the U21s or U18s that might tip the belance.

Point is, The FA, EFL and clubs themselves need to consider fans, particulalry away fans, and, to some degree, local businesses and services who are impacted by late cancellations. Only 5 League One games are being played this weekend. 2 have been cancelled in League Two. It is not fair on those who have paid out any unreclaimable expences. Hence why my personal belief is that all fixtures should be cancelled on these weekends. At least we all know where we stand.

I would have thought that the FA, EFL and clubs need to consider the integrity of the competition. Making teams play with their best players away on international duty is irresponsible. Cancelling games for small clubs that need the money that comes from a Saturday game, opposed to a midweek game doesn’t help the clubs. The fans have been the last on the list of priorities for as long as I can imagine. Can’t see it changing anytime soon, either.

When I booked the tickets I didn't know it was an international weekend, don't recall anything on the website warning me of the possibility. This is 3rd game this season I've booked that has been resceheduled, and I won't be organising our regular game this christmas, as i'd usually go to the Valley with friends and family and be the person booking the tickets, don't want to be stung again.... and yes i'll get a refund and get my money back, and do something far more fun and interesting in the warmth inside, but i just find this attitude in football that everyone somehow knows League 1 fixtures kickoffs can be moved without any notice is quite baffling, because its not the case.

Thanks for replying. I agree that’s very disappointing from the club. It’s not reasonable to expect everyone who might buy tickets to know some games might be postponed and the club should make that risk clear when selling tickets. What’s worse is that they probably expected the game to be off. It’s good you’ll get your money back, but I’m sure that doesn’t really compensate for the inconvenience.
