Yeah definitely better to give the club your money instead of sky for a day pass if living abroad. |

It will be interesting to see what the Charlton broadcast offers. it might be the exact same one as Sky or it might have fewer cameras and/or our own commentary. Also, I suspect that a 24 hour pass also gives you access to other content on Sky so that might be worth the extra £4.99 for some fans. |

I guess if you want to watch other things on that day it would be worthwhile paying the extra £5. From experience sky sports pretty much shows repeats unless live events are taking place. I'd be pretty unhappy with the service if I was a full blown sky sports subscriber |

Those with sky sports and virgin media head too channel 508 and press the red button shows all the matches this weekend as a stream.

Watching Barnsley vs Mansfield on SS+ and the coverage isn’t half bad. On Sky you can also see the real time league table which hopefully will come in handy the last few games when we need wins to make the play offs!

Just an FYI for any Virgin Media customers.
You may already be aware of this, but I’ve been a bit slow on the uptake. I managed to watch a couple of matches on Sky+ via my Virgin Media box over the weekend but it was clunky and not at all satisfactory. I’ve now realised that I needed to upgrade the set top box to Virgin TV 360. It’s free and it’s a software upgrade not a new box, but it does require a new remote control which can be ordered via the App menu using the existing equipment. Once the new remote arrives you can download TV 360.
Just thought I’d share this in case other Virgin Media users were, like me, unaware of the need to upgrade if you want to get the benefits Sky+.

Do they continue to stream the games 'live' on repeat after the final whistle and/or show a highlights summery? I don't have Valley Pass, either, but I'm led to believe that you can stream games, after the final whistle, so maybe the clubs wanted Sky to be able to show the games live but not allow fans to record them. This way you need Sky and a Valley Pass. Maybe we should all just post our debit cards to our clubs and let them take all of our money?  |
