Looking like our fate is gonna be left in one players hands , step forward Big Chuks , if we can get 10-12 x 30 minutes out of him I think we will be fine , on the other hand get the usual 3-4 appearances before he breaks down again and we are doomed imo .Time to earn that money!

I didn’t n watch the game but looking at the match live writings on bbc he was down injured a few times.

Love to reply on him as he clearly makes a different but I don’t think he will make the season. Best we can hope for is a few snatched efforts maybe bagging us a few wins. Tragic but true.

Couple of times he went down was for clash of heads , we seem a totally different team with someone on the pitch who can hold the ball up which makes the decision to pull the plug on the port vale fella even more staggering, totally agree though it’s tragic it’s come to this .

The game certainly turned on its head when he came on, must be a defenders nightmare with his physicality and aggression. Just hope he controls it a little bit as always looks like he’s going to get sent off😉

If he wasn't made of glass he wouldn't be playing for us, perhaps we could bubble wrap him.
Seriously when he's on the pitch he gives his all and considering his injury record he's one brave guy.
He also seems to wear the shirt with pride.

For us To get safe we need a fully fit and starting Aneke and Ladapo up top with Alfie in the 10 and Dobbo and Camara behind them……

Imagine if we signed a proper #9 who gets through the season in the summer. Lets hope Pompey don't rate Bishop for the Championship, think he'd do a real job for us next year.

Chuks might as well stay at Charlton on a pay as you play contract when his deal expires. A regular 30 mins is better than retirement for him and if we stop signing other injury prone players we can deal with one player with exceptional circumstances.

Nathan mentioned he'd picked something up but not how bad it was. Just that we had to treat Chuks different to any other human being or something along those lines.

It's the one gripe I have with Nathan atm. Never straight with injuries.

yep tend to agree but hopefully get some minutes out of him before that happens- let’s get completely safe first 🙏🏼
