Ipswich lost to Maidstone with two reserve centre backs playing. One reason for their success is they play a very high line, cutting down space between their banks of three. Villa do same.

Came unstuck with inexperienced defenders vs pacy forwards. But that is the way to go, not carthorses like Jones and Gillespie defending deep, leaving huge gaps. Need Deji, Bakrin, Touré, Mitchell and Laqertabua to come to the fore. Not sure about Gough.

Or buy some quick CBs. In a 4 or 3, doesnt matter. Play in their half.
