Watched a video on Stewart. Not sure if anyone else has watched one but the pace of the games were dreadfully slow. Non league defenders by some distance he was playing against.
If he arrives it’ll be purely a development player. We really need top quality, proven players up to speed who will feed off the exceptional midfield we’re getting in soon.

We really need top quality, proven players up to speed who will feed off the exceptional midfield we’re getting in soon. at the same time though he might bring something to the league that hasnt been seen before. it is worth the risk imo. if it works we've pulled a blinder. if it doesn't he leaves after his contract is up and we thank him for the service, i imagine if we do bring this guy in we'll also be bringing in another striker of some sorts. |

We've all seen the videos that went up on here last week and the majority were excited by what we saw albeit in the JPL. Nothing like putting a young player down before he's even arrived though is there but I'm glad you did because if just confirms what I already knew about your football knowledge. |

I quite like the look of Stewart. Undoubtedly raw but has the potential to do well in this league where having pace and power can get you far. His highlights remind me a bit of Adebayo at Luton - he might not get us 15-20 a season but looks like he could be a battering ram for May and Leaburn to play off.
If it’s him and Cosgrove then so be it. While I don’t think May, Leaburn, Stewart and Cosgrove is the strongest front 4 I’ve ever seen - I do think it’s better than the majority of the league (which is significantly weaker this year).

Some great players have come out of Nigeria and you know he will be physically strong and athletic. He looks a really exciting prospect and I hope he is coming our way.

After watching his YouTube "highlights", I'm sure the plumbers, barmen and Uber delivery drivers he seems to be playing against would highly recommend him!!
I'm not excited by this at all, and actually quite disappointed we seem to be wasting resources/time when there are proven players out there who could do a job, instead of just maybe doing a job. Please come back to this comment when the window shuts (I'll happily eat humble pie), but I think we will all be quite disappointed.

I believe he made his international debut against Cameroon last November and has made two more appearances for Jamaica since then, so would that have been against plumbers, barmen and Uber delivery drivers? |

Please come back to this comment when the window shuts (I'll happily eat humble pie), but I think we will all be quite disappointed. little bit unfair. how about we wait and see if we actually even sign him before saying you're disappointed lmao. hes good enough to be called up to Jamaica's national team, and is one of the top scorers in their premier league. he's young and is clearly good enough to be making a move to a better league. if it works then this will be a great move. need to be looking at players other clubs arent looking at. as has been previously mentioned by others here this isnt the only signing we'd be making at striker either so imo its okay to take a punt on him. |

I would have thought that the signings made so far would, and should, afford our new management team a bit more respect. Suggesting that they would be signing players on such recommendations is a bit silly, and I if he does sign, I will be giving him a lot more time than a few days in reaching an opinion on him. |

Have a look at some of the well known names in the Jamaican squad he has just broken into, some who play over here in England. They all had to start somewhere. |

If Stewart does come hopefully he is decently fit so he can go straight in to the Matchday squad rather than having to get up to speed like others do. Sorry but assuming he is match fit he should start off in one or the other of our age related Academy teams and see how he goes there. We would be a very poor employer to pitch him straight into the 1st team squad. Let’s see whether he trains with the Academy lads or the first team squad and await Dean’s comments as to how he’s progressing. |

To draw that conclusion you would have to know a bit how he was scouted. Someone recommended him to us. |
