I've told CM that I would like to see us sign, Scott Banks from Palace, Owen Moxon from Carlisle and Sam Hoskins from Northampton. Just heard that one of those players is already on our radar and has spoken to Dean Holden. Exactly the sort of recruitment we need, proven performers in League 2 HUNGRY for the step up. Didn’t we sign a load of proven League Two players last summer?

Aden Flint reported as being one of the other players and being followed on Twitter by Ron Dangerfield Charlton secretary Holden would know him very well No thanks, too old, too slow.

I'm wondering who is providing the funds for these players? Nobody right now as the window doesn't open until 14th June. I expect that we all hope that the takeover is completed by then and a brand new SMT (including Holden) can start replacing the players who have left so far in 2023. It's likely that early bird ST sales covered the April payroll and some of May. Our club requires a cash injection to see us through to the kick off in August.

Didn’t Sandgaard, recently, sell c. $2m of his shares back to Zynex? I suspect that will be enough for him to keep the bills paid until the Transfer window opens then he can sell Leaburn and/or Dobson to get over the summer. Or, at least, he can bluff any potential new owners so that they don’t force him to do a deal before the salaried need paying. Maybe?

Not sure another ageing CB is what we need!

Flint was the best centre back I’ve seen down the Valley in years. Even when Inniss went up top towards the end he wasn’t troubled in the air or on the floor. Would be well happy with that Signing.

There’s a decent budget sitting waiting to be spent on 5 or 6 good Championship and high end L1 players once the looney f*cks off.
The idea is that the new faces will compliment the likes of Fraser, Hector, AMB, Dobbo and Leaburn etc.
We will have a squad to give ourselves a good go at it.

Do you think that might mean that the offers to the players might be enhanced when the ownership is resolved? That could explain why Hector, in particular, hasn’t been announced as signing. If I was Thomas I would be getting a contact act signed quickly as with, real, money he might not be offered a new deal, at all.

More than likely wishful thinking on my part, but until some sort of clarity is reached I'll dream on.

Good move for Jay DaSilva! The fact anyone thought he would drop down to league one was hilarious.. I was really impressed with Jay but I think the modern footballer needs to be much bigger. Having a 5'7" left back puts pressure on the team for set pieces and from crosses. For that reason I'm not surprised that he has stayed in the Championship. If he'd been 6'2" he'd, probably, have spend most of his career in the Premier League, At 25, and having signed a four year deal with Coventry, it's likely that this is going to be his level. No shame in being a Championship player, and I suspect that he is earning a very decent living. I also agree that he was never, realistically, going to drop to League One. Good luck to him!

If I were a cynic I would think us all of a sudden leaking interest in May would be a way to keep us onside when Sandgaard pulls out the takeover later today......If I were a cynic that is. 😜

He has been to Sparrows Lane and held talks with Dean. Shame that's probably as far as it will go. Location could've swung it in our favour, but with TS dicking about Derby will no doubt think fuck this and bag both May and Stockton probably....because instead of talking about having a go,they actually do it.
