How some can continue to believe what Sandgaard says is beyond me. He is an egotistical prick. Nothing good will happen to Charlton all the while he remains. Just fuck off and take your son ,girlfriend and guitar with you.

I never thought weād sign anyone decent. Sandgaard has been making promises that heās failed to deliver on for almost two years now.
I think he lacks the intelligence to understand/realise that most of us see through him now.
He is too involved in the major decisions for us to ever be successful and his obsession with attention will ensure that he will continue to make popular declarations that will never happen.
The long term damage he will, ultimately, inflict on this club is a travesty - all to satisfy the ego of a spoiled narcissist that owns a company that, no doubt, runs better the less he has to do with it.

He loves the sound of his own voice, he's such a bad actor. He should be working in McDonalds, not football.

I said on here when Miles Leaburn got his first goal on the opening day of the season that it removed any faint chance of signing a striker. I never expected us to do so for one minute. There were some trusting souls who kept telling us a stiker and a defender were definitely coming in before the deadline closed and if Garner seriously believed that he was going to be allowed reinforcements then he's as gullible as Bexley, Plumb and the other "loyalists" on here. Don't believe anything sourced from the Tommy/Raelyn/Martin dysfunctional family shitshow and you can't go far wrong.

Yesterday properly pissed me off. Another 'statement' from the club on transfer deadline day to say how they failed. Deja Vu. Which other clubs do this? Not only that, they failed with a player that I'm not even fussed we missed out on. At least be a signing worthwhile that we couldn't pull off.
Do they not learn?
We literally did all the right things at the start/middle of this window. Signed players early in the window and signed good players from what we have seen so far. Then we leave it to the last minute to get two vital positions (CB and ST) sorted. Why?
A blind man could see these were needed at the start of the window.
TS needs to confirm exactly what his ambitions are for our club. He's contradicted himself too many times.
Despite the above. I'm still looking forward to this season as I think we've got a good squad and we're going to be playing some attractive football. However, I also think it's going to one of the most frustrating seasons ever (which is saying something). As we're going to be firing blanks for a lot of games.
This has heaped so much pressure on Stockley to play well. I feel sorry for him tbh.

Any current Charlton player with ambition will be looking for a way out of this shambles of a football club - the fans have been let down again and so have our players.

The most likely scenario now is another season in mid table, played in front of 6,000 winter home attendances at the Valley. Nobody is going to rush to pay Ā£34 to watch a team the owner wonāt invest in.
Letās hope he finally runs out of āCharlton moneyā, and puts the football side of the club up for sale in 2023. I think he will.

I have a tendency to believe what people tell me Nigel. I object to being called a loyalist but I tend to give people a chance. But that is the last chance I will be giving to all the Sandgaardās they have let us down with their lies.

Not surprised at all with the lack of business, in fact I would have been more surprised if weād signed anyone at all.
Transfer deadline day at CAFC is a farce. Hope no one opens a thread for the January window. Waste of time.
SNAFU.

Garner doesn't mention Bonne once. What should've been asked is if Garner actually wanted him.

Dick , I think we are all loyal to the club , however this chancer is making that level of commitment a very challenging decision. As far as Iām concerned weāve been lied to by a snake oil salesman, āHisā Charlton is NOT the Charlton I gave many many hours of loyalty to.

And there it is. The last line of the interview that we knew was coming, but this time we got it from Garner - "Getting Chuks Aneke back and playing will be like a new signing." They really do take the supporters for mugs.

They really do take the supporters for mugs. Iād hesitate to use the word dishonesty, but itās not far from it. Chuks Aneke - 289 career appearances in his 13th year as a pro. The guy plays 20 games a season.
