I stand corrected it wasn't Ozoh who I mentioned back at the end of May, it was this lad who is a very good winger. Palace have some cracking youngsters at the moment. Still at Selhurst Park and still available for a season long loan.

Here we go …
Desperation Klaxon Alert
CAFC are interested in a loan for 19 year old Palace winger Jeresun Rak Sakyi. He can play as a striker as well.
A loan deal is due to be completed before the Accrington game.

I mentioned him on here in May. Well chuffed in true.

He’s a raw 19 year old kid ….the same was said about KaiKai & other “favours” Palace did us. I totally get your worries about loaning a random PL kid WLA, and last season's choices were the worst I've ever seen. I'm also entirely in agreement that Sandgaard is a skint(ish), clueless narcissist. But. Conor Gallagher was 19 when we loaned him, and he came with a similar buzz. Interestingly, he had a less impressive record in PL2 (20 games, 4 goals, 3 assists to Rak Sakyi's 32/19/5). They obviously play in very different positions, but alongside Reams's glowing report, I think this does give us some idea of the calibre of the lad. I think I'm a bit excited about this one! If Chucks is crocked though, loaning Rak Sakyi doesn't negate the need for another striker, as I think he's more of a winger/inside forward. We still desperately need a LB too!

Think Rak-Sakyi looks like an explosive winger, shades of CBT but with some development to do, importantly looks a stronger option than Jayasemi for me so would welcome him on loan.

I'm less confident we'll get the Palace kid now after reading that Palace will allow him to make his own choice of where he goes on loan.
Crystal Palace will reportedly let youngster Jesurun Rak-Sakyi pick which team he joins on loan.
The Eagles are willing to loan out the winger to boost his development in the Football League.
Rak-Sakyi, 19, has recently been away with Patrick Viera’s side for pre-season in Singapore and Australia.
According to journalist Alan Nixon on his Patreon, the Premier League will let him choose where he wants to go, with League One trio Charlton Athletic, Lincoln City and Oxford United interested.
He has been a regular for Palace at various youth levels since then and was handed his first professional contract last year.
The England U20 international then made his first-team debut in a top flight clash against Chelsea last August and has since played once more for the senior team.
He is being tipped for a bright future with the Eagles but a loan move away now would enable him to get some first-team experience under his belt.
Charlton are managed by former Crystal Palace coach Ben Garner, whilst ex-defender Mark Kennedy manages Lincoln these days.
Both are said to be keen on Rak-Sakyi but they will have to see off competition from Oxford for his signature.

I think if he was going to sign for us he would have signed by now……also if he wants to be part of a successful promotion chasing side he will go to Oxford rather than us…..depends on how close he maybe wants to stay to family and friends…..

Yes can’t disagree! Some folk regardless of age are prepared to go anywhere in pursuit of their dreams whereas others can’t settle outside of their home turf and away from family & friends. This may or may not come into play as far as the young man is concerned.

Oxford United have signed former Coventry City winger Jodi Jones on a one-year deal.
The 24-year-old was released by the Sky Blues at the end of last season having joined the club in July 2016.
This could mean that Rak Sakyi has knocked them back?

Would we sign both Simpson and Rak Sakyi on loan for example?.
