A day after we get relegated and no statement from any of ESI. Absolute shambles! Listen to the Farnell interview. As soon as the EFL sanction the takeover he will release a statement. He cannot at the moment as he does not want to compromise what is going on. Bowyer has spoken highly of him today so cut him some slack for now at least. |

Paul Elliott doing statement straight away after efl give them green light about plans going forward When will those clowns at the EFL due to give the green light though? That’s the million dollar question at the moment. |

Given what’s gone on since the ESI involvement I find it hard to trust them at the moment. Bowyer spoke very highly of ESI when Southall was involved and look what happened! They could’ve released a short statement at least and to reassure us on a few things. I’ve never felt so low being a Charlton supporter so maybe I’m feeling extremely pessimistic at the moment but I just cannot see any resolution unless ESI pass the club to Varney and Barclay. |

I've spent hours looking into the accounts / companies house records of these 'investors' and all ive found is failed companies. CF has been involved in many football clubs and leaves them with less that they started out with. I'm hoping this is all a smoke screen as PE is NOT the owner, TN & MS never provided proof of funds in the 1st instance so how can they sell on ? Only time will tell :-( |

The EFL don’t class the end of season till play offs are finished which is ridiculous when big decsions have to be made concerning the bottom of the table |

This is so ridiculous, the playoffs have no bearing on this matter.
Neither of the teams concerned are in the play offs, so stop stalling for time . Just bloody make a decision and announce if so everyone can get on with their lives.
Incompetent idiots. They’ve already passed the buck to someone else to make the decision for them.

Identical ultimatum was given to Bury in writing at almost identical time. Identical excuses were given for not complying by Bury’s Chris Farnell... who now just happens to be #cafc solicitor. EFL have warned ESI tonight of “consequences”

We need the EFL to give ESI a deadline of maybe seven days, to provide what evidence it needs or block the sale. I had hoped the former directors would have done this.
Things need to be forced to come to a conclusion, surely the EFL, as incompetent as they are, agree that penalising one of their member clubs instead of the unscrupulous ’owners’ is morally and ethically wrong.
Showing them Dicks post above, should be enough to tell them all they need to know.
Is there no arbitrator for football that can force everyone to find a solution to this fiasco ?
The EFL’s sole and primary duty is to manage and protect all of its members clubs, not given the run around by chancers.
How on earth can anyone buy a club for £1, without showing the necessary funds to run it for the foreseeable future.
