not a legal person , but this is in the charge on CAFC Limited , would this need negotiating with RD ? According to Voice of the Valley the club's former directors have not heard anything from any possible buyers of the club. I infer that Duchatelet hasn't either, but I could well be wrong about that. This is worrying simply because it makes no sense whatsoever. The scumbags who own the club need to agree to sell it (or to sell ESI which owns the club), but they have no real negotiating position. Any sensible buyer would want to cut a deal with the former directors (i.e. to end their legal action) and with Duchatelet, i.e. if possible to reduce the debt owed to him because that's the real price for the club, not the £1m Nimer is trying to scrounge. Whether Duchatelet is able to block a sale I'm not sure, but he's a mug if he can't, not least since the loan agreement makes mention of a guarantor. We don't know who that is, but it must be a significant factor in any sale. Its a complete shambles. Not easy to be optimistic.

would Jenkins get a better deal waiting for us to fall into admin, then pick up the fall out ? I think a number of things are putting him off, what division we will be in next season, Directors loan, whether EFL will be taking action against us. Would you buy us at the moment?

I dint trust this Jenkins at all. Clearly wants us relegated by the efl or go into admin to get the price down. Hardly a chairman with ambition. Question why he put a bid in the first place other than to get his profile raised and bluff out other investors.

It’s hard to see anyone rushing to buy us immediately, unless the 400 k wages put in, is knocked off the purchase price.

Alan Nixon
Every day like that just now. But if wages are paid that takes the pressure off a quick takeover. The source of the funds will be revealing all the same.

I wouldn't be surprised to discover that Nimer and Southall have told any potential buyers that they already own The Valley and are selling it with the club. Seriously if Southall entered a building wearing a rain coat and soaking wet, and said it was raining I'd walk to the closest window and have a look for myself.

Don’t think Jenkins is a chancer far from it .. he a business man who if he can get a cheaper deal then he will play the game no matter what he puts out in the media he still very much in the running .... I was referring to the current “owners”, BB

If he buys us in admin then wether we are in champs or league 1 we will have a huge points deduction. So it’s better for him if we are relegated and he buys us cheaper. If we are relegated and then hit with a points deduction he gets the club even cheaper surely? Whatever way u look at it - this guy is looking for a cut price deal without regard to the now.

The club is worth much less in League One than it is in the Championship and even less in League One with a points deduction following administration. In any event, the club is unlikely to enter administration. Most importantly, Nimer isn't able to offer Jenkins a cut price deal. There is no 'price' to speak of to cut. If Jenkins wants to reduce his capital outlay he needs to speak to Roland Duchatelet about his loans and the freehold. He also needs to talk to the former directors about their legal action. As noted above, he doesn't appear to have done that. Whatever is preventing Jenkins committing himself its not because he's playing some game of chicken designed to reduce the price.

You may be right kings hill addick Nimer and Southall probably are that slippery. However, twenty minutes spent on the Companies House website would tell any buyer all they need to know. If Jenkins doesn't already know who owns what then that's a damning indictment of his true level of interest.
