Tyson between 1984-1988 was the best I ever saw.

Tyson between 1984-1988 was the best I ever saw. Fury would have beaten Tyson imo, Fury would have been too skilled for him, he fought no one similar to Fury until the latter stages of his career when his heart went.

I listened on the radio app on my phone.., the singing got it started good and proper and then, wow!.. it sounded like a right beating... I hope Wilder recovers ok and doesn’t trigger a third fight...

What a performance- took the fight to Wilder and he just couldn’t unleash his big shots on the back foot. Nailed the game plan! What a fighter!

Phenomenal display. He outclassed him from the first minute until the last and at one stage I thought Wilder had genuine fear on his face. A bout against Joshua next would be incredible for British sport.

Tyson in his hay day was a ferocious animal in the ring. It would have been an enormous battle given completely opposite physiques!

Yes we did but the Michael Watson tragedy highlighted the inherent dangers of fighting which has taken the gloss off it for me m8

On the other board I predicted a Fury TKO. I think Fury is excellent but in my opinion this over-the-top praise going on today is just another case of the British thinking far-more of their own creation that the rest of the world think of them. Like Noel Gallagher, Lennox Lewis, The Royal Family and Spice Girls.

Its hard to compare different fighter from the different generations. Fury is by far the best out there at the moment. although he as a hard time with the overhand right cross.Tyson was a true powerhouse but never had the gas tank to go late into the rounds. Holyfield was a true technal boxer who could go all night, but had a lack of power. Lewis was hit or Miss you never knew who would turn up on the night. I could go on and back further but the whole debate is pointless unless the 2 fighter could ever had a fight when they are both at the top of there games.

Yes we can’t wrap ourselves in cotton wool and risk is part of our daily lives. But there’s something barbaric where hundreds or thousands of pi55ed up punters are screaming for a fighter to rip the head off an opponent. Boxing is a tough sport which does provide wayward kids with a discipline and a way ahead - but I just respect life too much to get involved. Each to their own as they say...
