It's blocks 240 to 247 which have been released - I am pretty sure these are the Club Wembley seats whose owners get first chance to buy and I imagine the deadline for that would have run out last night so they went on general sale. Query is that in the usual Club Wembley seats (not England games) you are not allowed to wear club colours at all. Those Club Wembley seats were £150 each for the FA Cup Semi Finals. That’s right. Club Wembley members had an option to buy tickets (one per seat licence). I’ve just checked and that option is still open. The ‘best available seats’ are shown as being in Block 249. My guess is that Blocks 240-247 have been released to Charlton a) because we’ve sold our allocation and b) there is limited demand from Club Wembley members. Tickets are priced at £80, i.e. the same price they’re now being sold through the club. In theory, Club Wembley is ‘no club colours’. However, in practice, that does not appear to be strictly enforced. Also, for the match on Sunday I expect Level 2 to be segregated and Club Wembley members buying tickets are asked to choose which ‘end’ they want to sit in, i.e. Charlton or Sunderland. It follows that while it’s always possible some ‘jobsworth’ will be difficult, I’d expect Charlton fans on Level 2 to be able to wear club colours if they wish.

I pity the people who have to sort out the posting of over 30,000 match tickets. Has anyone received theirs yet? I just got the following in an email from CAFC: With our day at Wembley within touching distance, we want to make sure the big day goes as smoothly as possible for you! If you do not receive your tickets in the post on Friday morning, please call 03432 081 496 and advise one of our ticket office staff of this. Make sure you have your transaction number/FAN ID to hand, as you will be asked to confirm your identity. You will then be asked if you would prefer to receive an email with print-at-home tickets attached or pick up a physical ticket from the ticket office at Wembley. Fans have up until 2pm this Friday to let us know that their tickets have not arrived. If you have already received your tickets, please make sure you bring them on the day! We will not be able to provide duplicate tickets to any individuals who have not previously contacted us by Friday 2pm. The only problem, is that my post never arrives until afternoon . If the tickets have not arrived by Thursday, I’ll call first thing Friday for print at home option , as I don’t fancy being in a long line at the stadium , trying to collect tickets on the day .

My tickets arrived today so all good for me. What intrigues me is that if in the event of tickets not arriving on time, a print at home option will be offered. Now I know this is entirely dependant on the recipient having a printer, but would it not have been a reasonable idea to have this option from the word go? Just as a fall back, it’s something I would have considered, particularly as it’s a no cost option for the customer. Not wanting to criticise the club who are doing a good job. Just a thought to muse over.

695 seats available in Block 128. That’s a bummer after only being able to get seats right at the top before . Anyone know why these have only become available now ?

Good things come to those who wait perhaps... Sorry if you’ve got level 5 tickets, maybe try sell them after buying some lower seats?!

The print at home option works if you have printer, but what is worst is that you have only until 2pm Friday to contact the ticket line to get a collect at the ground ticket if the post has failed to deliver. I like many people will be at work on Friday and I do think mu employer will be too happy with hanging onto the phone for 2 hours trying to get through to the ticket line number. I can see a fair number of people who bought tickets not getting them.

I’m happy that I have tickets but I must admit that I’m a bit annoyed that after buying not very good tickets , they now release much better ones . What’s that all about , why were they not available before ,when I spent hours online trying to buy .
I hoped maybe I could phone the office and swap mine for better seats and pay the extra , but none of the ticket office phone lines are working now .

It's the Club Wembley tickets - Wembley could not release them until a certain time to allow the Club Wembley members (Debenture Holders if you like) to decide if they were going. Zero to do with CAFC.

Ah ok , thanks mate . Will probably have to stick with what I’ve got if no chance to swap . Only other way is to buy better seats and hope I could sell mine ,but getting a bit too close now I think . Thanks again , and well done for all of the ticket updates .

They won't sell 5k tomorrow. It's been general sale at 8 per head for them for 2 days.

The record attendance for a League One play-off Final at Wembley was the 1999 final, when Manchester City played Gillingham and the attendance stood at 76,935

Incredible, simply incredible. It is good but something inside me is nagging that some clubs do this and considerably more for every home game.
