If Duchatelet buys into the possibility of Premier League football next season based on the start we have and still there or thereabouts come January, I think we have every chance of achieving twhat we all thought was impossible.

Just think we still have 3 or 4 players to comeback from injury

Fantastic start to the season and nothing to fear but everyone to respect.
We shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves and injuries are going to be the big unknown factor. But ..... it is just so great singing “to the Premiership we’re going” and although pure bravado at present with pure genius in Bows at our helm maybe just maybe .......

We have as much chance as anyone. If Lyle is here on Feb 1 with a partnership with Bonne anything is possible. Even without Lyle we're now good.

The January transfer window will be so crucial this season probably more so than for quite some while. Not only must we hope, no expect, additions to the squad we have to hope like he’ll that Cullen does not get recalled by West Ham and also that Gallagher stays.
Our rivals will strengthen and so must we.

Interesting concept. One I discussed with my friend today. If we're top six come January, could he throw 10 million at it for the chance to win 100? If I was rich, I'd have a go!

If Duchatelet buys into the possibility of Premier League football next season based on the start we have and still there or thereabouts come January, I think we have every chance of achieving what we all thought was impossible. Whether it's next season or the one after, the point is that success at CAFC relies on a decent strategy (tick) deep pockets (tick) and good execution (tick!). Our club is either going forwards or backwards and right now we've been going in the right direction for quite some time. The wage bill has stayed about the same for three years with expensive players leaving to be replaced with loans and cheaper ones who have delivered improvements every six months. The recipe for 2020 has to start with a cheeky bid for Cullen and a decent contract for Taylor. After that we might speculate on additions in various positions - and we should be clear this is an investment in improving the enterprise value of CAFC. If a mid table Championship club changes hands for £50M then how much for a play-off contender? £75-100M? This isn't about painting the tyres black and a repeat - we are entering the big boys league of the top 30 in the country. A place where the agents are sharks and players are routinely on £2M a year. Having written that, there's a case for pushing on as hard as possible in the full knowledge that bids of £5-10M for our players will follow... and that the cheap seats behind the goal will be sold out for every game!

West ham for sale? £600m Sunderland? Newcastle £300m? Man Utd £2billion or more Charlton ?

We are in a sweet spot just now. The level of ambition, performance, player development and potential, strategy, results all provide a wonderful fan experience at home, away and a vibrant valley. Saturday at home can't come round fast enough!
To get into the premiereship before we are ready will spoil so much of that let alone hit the pocket too hard for there will not be any cheap seats. There's far more to aspiration for our club than joining the premiereship!

Its a marathon not a sprint
The valley is buzzing at the moment. The noise behind the goal is ferocious... keep it going
