Currently sat in a queue with 1,700 people infront of me and a wait time of 20 minutes. This is torture 😫 heard people on twitter saying website is crashing when trying to checkout with tickets in your basket. Ridiculous if true

Don’t know whether this helps, but I logged in just before 9am on Saturday morning and then was randomly allocated a place in the queue. My place was 3,000 and something and the waiting time an hour.
Two positives though. First, the waiting time is constantly updated, so you’ll know how long you’ve got to wait if you check ‘now and again’, and you then have 20 minutes to complete your transaction. This means you can take a shower, make a coffee or do something else with your time.
Second, though I was given a waiting time of an hour, I was in the system within 40 minutes.
Finally, there was a minor glitch when I tried to pay (not sure why), but I was able to get back into the system and order again.
Hope everyone gets the tickets they need.

Massive demand this morning from the refuseniks who don't have S/Ts or attended too few matches to get 100 pts and buy over the weekend. Pretty much the only tickets left now are cat 5 and cat 6.
Reckon we will sell out today. But anyone who misses out don't dispair. It looks like most purchasers have taken the max tkt allocation (4 or 6) with a view to selling on - so I'd aniticpate there will be a heavy trade in tkts on the Charlton fansites over the next few days.

Honestly it's ridiculous- I may just watch it on Sky and do another drunk shit match commentary!! I read the commentary when I got home from the match. It was great, but hang in there amigo, the system does seem to work. Hope you get your tickets. And enjoy the game!!

Managed to get 2 tickets (myself and my dad) but block 528 as close to the front as we could do a row in front of him. But, we are there! Good luck to anybody still waiting. That was excruciating, especially when an error message kept coming up when I chose my seats in the family area (anybody know if there are any restrictions there, as seems odd?). These will sell out today, surely?

I think I’ve given up now . Spent an hour waiting to get onto site . Spent so long searching for group of four , time ran out .
Couldn’t even find two twos .
Decided to go alone in family stand as I do at The Valley, but can’t process and pay . Tried three times but had enough now .
That much hassle takes all of the enjoyment out of it , so probably get a few beers in and watch on sky at sons house .
Strange how we can suddenly find 36 thousand fans , but only 12 thousand normally turn up .

Reckon we will sell out today. But anyone who misses out don't dispair. It looks like most purchasers have taken the max tkt allocation (4 or 6) with a view to selling on - so I'd aniticpate there will be a heavy trade in tkts on the Charlton fansites over the next few days. Why "refuseniks"? These last three seasons we've been down to about 15,000 regular fans- 6,000 ST holders and the rest going to home games on a regular basis to take the gates to 10-12,000. We've had 12 years of horrendous losses, selling our best players and several strange managerial appointments. And then suddenly the marketing 6Ps become aligned again! Place: The Valley and Wembley - can't argue Product: excellent football for this level Price: buttons behind the goal People: Bowyer, Gallen, JJ and Avory Process: some have struggled but we've sold over 30,000 tickets over 2.5 days including 12,000 over the last four hours Promotion: cannot fault the mix of highlights, interviews and emails coming out of the club Some from the last century wish to criticise or tell people how this is all happening despite the owner. Except he's the one who covers the losses and sanctioned a new pitch and new database. Back in the last century we queued for hours around the ground to buy our Wembley tickets. On Saturday it took me 25 minutes! What matters is that the lads do the business and that the club is able to market itself to all of these active fans. Bowyer has delivered, and even if one takes a dim view of the owner, that's all the more reason to back and admire those who are running the club! At this stage, nobody can quite explain how we sold out the Valley the other night. But the alignment described above and everybody pulling in the same direction can only help.
