I agree ... but he not a full back never has been he is a DM / CB that where he started in Holland and played in our youth system he been forced into an emergency right back really ... but it’s not his position . He gets caught out of position to many times look at Doncaster goal on Sunday where was he , Cullen had to try and cover also when your playing wing back / right back you need to be able to supply crosses, his distribution like Solly is awful .... but in his defence he is not a full back .. completely diff game then DM/CB... that’s why I say we need a proper right back in the summer with Solly only as cover

I can't see that this would be true.
Manchester City have made contact in the last 10 days with Charlton Athletic central midfielder Joe Aribo (22).
Aribo has scored 10 goals and made five assists in 37 appearances this season - City would see him as a ‘squad player’.

No point worrying over it, young Joe has been well focused, but at the end of the season, what will be, will be. There is nothing we can do about it..

The Man City link is interesting they want to sign him but then loan him to Frankfurt for two years ....to be fair this is the only decent move that may help his career all others he will just be forgotten in a few years and be back playing in loan in div one ...

Transfer window is back open which is unfair in those who are still involved in play offs and don’t know what league they will be in ??

Totally disagree that he’ll be back playing on loan in league 1 , personally think he’s good enough to play in the championship at the very least...

Joe is too good for league one , and will be playing at a higher level soon . Unfortunately, promotion or not , it almost certainly will not be with us .
Let’s just enjoy watching him while we are lucky enough to have him in our team .

Seems not everyone looks at a player in the same way, but that said I think I would trust Lee Bowyers judgement, wouldn't you?.😉

Not sure how reliable this lot are, or whether it is just lazy journalism given that the player was on trial with us a few weeks ago,
I remember that he had an awful game in the U23's against Burnley and a case of 'no thanks'.

Aribo linked with Southampton in today’s Sunday Express. Obviously i’d rather he stays, but if he does leave I hope it’s to a club like Southampton where he’ll actually get an opportunity, rather than just becoming another cog in the Man City machine

Let’s be honest he know where near ready for prem in fact he not even been tested at championship level ...very exciting young player who has a great career ahead of him but there still a lot of work to be done .... another two years at a club who going to play him and look after him will do him much better then struggling at a prem Club ...
But to be fair to him he wants to stay and sign the deal but only his agent stopping him...

The agent works for the player not the other way around and they don't/can't stop players from signing for anyone.

If someone offered me three/four/five times my salary at a bigger/more reputable company, I'd bite their hand off, as most people would, I'm sure. But because he's a footballer, he's not being loyal. He'll want to better himself and, rightly or wrongly, if he feels City (or Arsenal or Southampton) gives him that opportunity, then he should take it. I'd wish him good luck.

Yeah I agree and as long as there is a sufficient replacement or another player coming through the system who would benefit from the added game time then that’s fine with me. Part and parcel of football nowadays...

Putting aside anything that LB or Joe are saying , has any previous player been the subject of so much media reporting and publicity, and not been sold ? Whatever league we are in next year , we won’t be matching the offers he will get from other clubs .
Another short sighted decision by the owner to offer a new contract and then take it back . At least we would be getting a decent fee when he goes . It’s a pity he wouldn’t sign a deal with a release clause agreed , but that’s not gonna happen now.
Let’s just hope he puts on a good display at Wembley, and helps get us get promoted first

Apparently, Ademola Lookman is surplus to requirements at Everton and is transfer listed. Would be nice but the Merseyside club want 20 million. That's out then, although any sell on monies would be nice, assuming it goes into the budget for next year's fighting fund.

Josh Morris is one of three players to be released by Scunthorpe United.
Bit of a surprise that.
