I think there is too much fake news which is winding everyone up! Find myself agreeing with this, strange as it may seem. It's all very fever-pitch at the moment, albeit fans are rightly furious at the statement on the website. But will things calm down in the next few days or will emotions be ramped up even further by events? No way to tell if this is going to get better or worse yet.

The real problem is social media. If we had reduced access we wouldn't be wound up by everything we read because it'll be less shit to read

I think there is too much fake news which is winding everyone up! That club statement isn't fake news and quite rightly has lit the torch paper. There is going to be some serious fall out if we lose LB. I genuinely believe Duchatelet's well being is at risk the way he is continuing to antagonise people.

I can see him cashing in on Lyle Taylor that there will be the last straw for some.

I get what you’re saying, mind you. Years ago things happened and they were accepted, probably with a shrug of the shoulders and everyone moved on. Didn’t like it when Frank Hill was sacked (sorry, that is ancient), but it happened. No one chucked a wobbler tho’. Perhaps we should all take a chill pill, go to bed early and hope for better things tomorrow. Flying 🐖🐖🐖🐖.

No but he might be doing it to get a reaction from LB which he has got. It could have been a conversation with his agent who might have said “Lee won’t accept that” and RD has said ok that’s it then, except his agent hadn’t told Lee before the statement was issued. Purely amateur and I guess we’ll know more tomorrow.

LB was puzzled today at what went on and now wants to meet RD himself to sort it out ....

RedhenryRedhenry 6:33PM Players have been signed without Bowyers approval. I don't know who the players are though. I'm guessing this was rubbish then as well? Can't see new players having been signed without Lee's say so otherwise he's going to have players in the squad the he doesn't want.

Had a feeling we'd go for him. Wasn't he a rumoured target in Jan?

Charlton Athletic are interested in taking Eddie Nketiah on loan next season as they prepare for life in the Championship. The Addicks, who gained promotion via the play-offs last month, have had a slightly barmy 24 hours where it looked like manager Lee Bowyer might leave only for the club to confirm a new deal this morning. He can now turn his attention to strengthening a squad that will likely lose Gunner Krystian Bielik, who impressed at the Valley on loan last season. Nketiah could probably do with a spell of first team football away from the Emirates and is likely to attract admiring glances from clubs both here and abroad this summer. The England under-21 international, who scored his first Premier League goal in our win at Burnley on the final day of the season, came very close to joining Bundesliga side Augsburg in January only for Unai Emery to veto the move due to a lack of back-up for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alex Lacazette. The Gunners appear to be prioritising an attacking wide player – Lorient’s Alexis Claude-Maurice is of particular interest – and 18-year-old Brazilian starlet Gabriel Martinelli is also tipped to bolster our under-23s. That might provide enough wiggle room in the squad to allow Nketiah to develop elsewhere, albeit temporarily. In a statement confirming structural changes to the coaching set-up, Arsenal reaffirmed their desire to better help Academy graduates get first-team opportunities. You’d imagine that loan manager Ben Knapper’s phone will be ringing a lot this summer, it’s his role to identify and recommend third-party clubs to play their part in our players’ development. arseblog.news/2019/06/report-nketiah-on-charlton-radar/

I don't think he'd be much interested in us either mate after he was called a cnut to his face while we were celebrating at the end.

I'm sure Lee doesn't need to say much to get that problem off the table. He's a footballer, he understands football fans... Once he scores a couple his name will be being sung, the cnut comment forgotten. That's if we are interested
