If he’s fit, has played enough u23 games to get match fit then why can’t he feature? Would be an asset if he can hit the ground running and as hungry as hell too...

Yes , great to know he’s nearly ready to return , but we are not desperate for midfielders to need to rush him back . I’ll be happy to see him back in a Charlton shirt , when he is 100% , and mentally ready to ease his way back into action. Well done Jake for staying strong , and making a faster than expected recovery.
Great player for us , and also helps out by chipping in with some goals .

It wouldn't be a case of rushing him back. If he's ready, he's ready. Might be useful for him to get some minutes in some of the last games (assuming they are dead rubbers) in case he's needed for the play-offs.
