Sky will be filming the funeral march, Sky will also be filming outside the ground for the walkout. Sky knew what they were doing when selecting this game.

Live shots of the inside of the Valley now on Sky - less than 10 minutes before kick-off and the place looks almost empty still.
I would say there are roughly the same number of Boro supporters in the Jimmy Seed stand as there are Charlton fans in the rest of the ground.

Game stops after one minute as black and white beach balls rain onto the pitch from the home ends.

Tbh I'm only still awake coz I'm watching the Bangladesh v Oman T20 cricket. Kinda lost interest in Cafc - the first time that's happened in over 30 years. Sad but I'm not alone (

Someone in the crowd blew a whistle as Boro got into the box. Everyone stopped. Charlton fans then start singing.... 'You should have played to the whistle'!!

Not a bad first half I thought from our team. Playing deep to neutralise the Boro threat and trying to mug them on the break - probably the only plan that stands any chance of success. Boro restricted to a few chances, and they don't look invulnerable at the back either.
Well done to the protesting supporters so far; the funeral march looked well backed, the beach balls and whistles have been good to see/hear. Looking forward to seeing what the second 45 minutes brings...

1-0 Teixeira, great header... And a protester on the pitch. The first of many?

An excellent win that keeps us hanging on in there. Another striker would help us no end.

2-0 Victory for the Addicks!! - well done to the players, and the tactics of Jose Riga. He got it right today and our lads gave everything.
Due to a combination of their own troubles (which must be more serious than meets the eye) and our commitment and excellent discipline on the pitch, Charlton made Middlesbrough look very ordinary today.
Our latest Championship adventure might be officially dead, but it hasn't stopped moving yet. This was an unlikely three points on every level, and it makes up for the lifeless non-event on Tuesday. For the first time since we slipped into the bottom three, Charlton have reduced their points deficit.
Nine matches left to overtake MK Dons and Rotherham United? Still a mountain to climb, but not impossible yet. If Riga and the team prove me wrong when I said it was over on Tuesday night, I will be never have been happier to be wrong. If we do stay up, I should think it would be the greatest escape in our history.

Fantastic result - that's seven points from three games. Hurry up with revisions to the form table @lardiman !
We don't miss Makienok and the Harriott/ Lookman combi reminds me of Harriott/Sordell two years back.
Difference today was midfield linking up and distribution. Diarra was solid and Cousins MoM. And Gudmundsson really up for it too.

You miss so much in terms of movement off the ball and how fast players break forward or track back on TV that I am hesitant to comment - but as far as one could tell from the camera angles available that looked bloody excellent today.
The 'proper Charlton' players all had superb games from what we could see - Pope, Fox, Lookman, Harriott and Cousins, who was probably MoM. That's a very good 'British' spine to the side and the imports all did well, too, including the subs. Some terrific touches from Bergdich and Reza in the short time they had on the pitch and the latecomers, like Fanni, Motta and Suk-Young have played a major part in going three matches unbeaten.
We ddn't even miss Sanogo!

Didn't get to the game and saw some but not all on tv. Big Mak falling sick was a huge blessing and the Diarra/Cousins combination is our best CM pairing as Khashi won't reappear this season. The only thing that troubles me is that so many had their best game for ages because the Sky cameras were present and it was shop window time. Question: now the Sky cameras have been packed away, I assume that Lookman will be put carefully back in his box duly wrapped in the finest cotton wool
