I prefer a striker to Henry to be honest, Samuelson the West Ham lad and also Burke the CB/RB both on loan.

Well if we got 750 ish for Wiggins and with Wilsons wages now freed up we must have scope to do a bit of business ?

Good luck in the future Rhoys (except against us).
For me, an integral part of our L1 title winning season, but never the same after the injury against Palace. Like Wilson, has done well to secure a Championship contract.

All the best Rhoys, without doubt my favourite player in the L1 title winning team. Wiggins was my favourite player that season too, followed by the admirable Matthew Taylor. Such a shame that Taylor was never going to be quite good enough for the Championship and that Wiggins hasn't really been able to show what he might be capable of at that level. I hope he has better luck at Wednesday. An interesting question to ponder, which might shed some more light on Roland Duchatelet's approach to his ownership, is why Wiggins was moved on? Does Guy Luzon believe that with Zakarya Bergdich and Morgan Fox in his squad Wiggins wouldn't get game time and was hence truly surplus to requirements? Or, alternatively, did Katrien Meire, working with Luzon, but trying to manage a budget for wages and hit a target for transfer fees, see an opportunity to trade a saleable asset before his value declined, even though he might have been in the First XI? We're almost certainly dealing with shades of grey here, but it would be interesting to know how the club thought about this. Either way, its well done Morgan Fox, especially given some of the criticism he's had to deal with. He may not be the most technically gifted player and he clearly lacks pace, but he appears to have the mental strength, persistence and determination to make it as a professional footballer. If he continues to develop his awareness and footballing intelligence he may well enjoy a decent career. Good luck to him too.

A bit sorry to see this, he was a bloody good fullback for us in league 1, as good as Solly on the other wing. But the recurrent injuries seem to have effected his performances of late. It maybe a confidence thing and a move will be good for him, lets hope he has a poor game against as though rest of season can be great then.

Does Guy Luzon believe that with Zakarya Bergdich and Morgan Fox in his squad Wiggins wouldn't get game time and was hence truly surplus to requirements? In a word, yes. He'd fallen to third choice and Charlton got a decent fee for him. Sound business; you couldnt justify keeping him on sentiment based on what he did before he got injured in that game v Palace. He was never the same player after Zaha and Bolassie turned him inside out and outside in and then back again...

Excellent bit of business from the club and unbelievable amount of money for a player clearly past his best (fitness wise). From what I hear this will be reinvested in a Centre/full back. Great work from the club.

All too often plagued by injuries, but a great sight going forward when fit. Hopefully gets a good reception when we play them.
