For now anyway.
Now before anybody wants to spurt out a repeat of the total nonsense I have read on other forums I would just like to point out one thing......I do not take a penny from this message board and do not get a commission based on the number of hits it gets either so I have nothing to gain by bringing you snippets of information about Yann. The information thus far was based on fact and if anybody feels misled then there was certainly no intention on my part.
The truth is this. He knows that his chances will be limited at Bournemouth next season and is aware that he is wanted back at The Valley. Coming 'home' without giving himself the opportunity to be a success in the PL would be difficult for any player but he and Bournemouth were given time to consider an attractive offer made by us and the deadline for an either way answer was last Friday.
I am not aware of the outcome so I won't comment on it except to say that somebody close to him advised him that it was in his best interests to sit tight until January by which time a lack of PL football may force the move.
At a guess I would say that the two strikers we have been linked with today are a direct result of Friday's deadline passing without reaching a positive outcome on Yann at this moment in time.
For those who want to sneer, laugh and giggle passing comment on whether they believe this or not please carry on, be my guest, I know the truth and it's good enough for me.

Makes sense to me. It would only take a couple of injuries for him to be playing regular Premier League football, so maybe he fancies a crack at that more than coming back to us.
If he's warming the bench until January then I imagine a loan move could be on the cards, but I doubt it will be to us unless our eventual new signings struggle to bed in.

Potentially a reason we are only after Makienok on loan?

Seems like a good bit of inside info, cheers Reams.
