Before I start I am NOT knocking Bob just wondering what everybody else's take is on his actions once the final whistle blows. I have noticed on several occasions that he doesn't go to the opposing manager to shake hands, Holloway had to walk half way across the pitch last Saturday before finally catching up with him and offering his hand. Don't get me wrong but eventually it happens and Bob always gestures for his opposite number to join him for a post match drink, but I wondered if it may just be a Belgian thing or if Bob just forgets when the final whistle blows and heads straight to his players instead after shaking the hands of his staff. Strangely I've seen it before games too with the other manager approaching Bob not the other way around. He's got a bit of an arrogant swagger about him has our Bob, which isn't a bad thing. As long as he doesn't go running out of the tunnel or swinging on crossbars I'm fine with it.

Belgians are renown for being a reserved people who hold their own counsel.
Perhaps BP thinks that offering his hand is being a bit pushy, whereas here in the UK it's a hand given in friendship.

More important things to worry about than Bob''s supposed lack of sportsmanship. After the Rosler incident i make him right for walking away for a few seconds before shaking hands with the oppo

I'm sure VV is right. The fact that he doesn't shake hands with his own staff, bears this out. What I do like about Bob is his willingness to show his appreciation of our supporters, as he did the other week at Reading after the final whistle, when he came across the pitch to say thank you for the support. I can't remember if he shook hands with Atkinson though.
